When super dry ends or in need of a boost in condition I either use as a mask PRIOR to shampooing or use very sparingly on dry frizzy ends. Smell is strong but not unpleasant and fades to a pleasant aroma when it gets wet or hot. Very liquid it seems poor but don't let appearance fool you this it awesome for condition of your hair. A little does a lot and the shine is amazing. Vatika stuff is gaining more fans and having used their egg protein mask too I can see why.
