Zindoo 3D Window Film Privacy for Glass Windows, Tulip Flower, 44.5x200cm

I bought this to try as my house is lower than the footpath, so anyone walking by could look straight in. The previous owners used a slatted blind but this made the lounge very dark. I chose this particular film as I wanted a botanical themed privacy film. I saw some which had coloured print on them, but this seemed a bit more classy. I also liked the idea of the prismatic effect giving some natural colour. I wasn’t disappointed! I bought enough initially for just the front of house windows (lounge and bedroom). It arrived quickly and well packaged in long cardboard box. It’s easy to mark and cut (I used a fine Sharpie, metre long steel ruler and a Stanley knife. I cleaned windows thorough and then sprayed a fine mist of water on, removed the smooth backing film and it went nicely onto the windows and allowed plenty of re-positioning opportunities (it’s important to get the top edge on, centred and level before working down the glass). I took my time (as it’s not time critical) and worked my way down the window, positioning the film and using a squeegee to smooth it down and get the water out. Any air bubbles were easy to fix by re-lifting the film back to the bubble and then re-smoothing it out. One thing I learnt was that the squeegee I bought had a soft rubber blade. This isn’t ideal as it tends to drag across the film rather than slide. The film is actually provided with a small yellow plastic tool for doing this. I used a combination of the two but the ideal tool would be a squeegee with a hard-ish plastic blade rather than rubber. Anyway….. it went on well and I was super pleased with it! So much so, that I bought another, wider roll do do my front and back door glass. They both already had obscured glass but looked a bit dated. The film went on well again and the overall effect is not obviously spoilt by the underlying obscured glass. I can now have my blinds fully open for daylight when I want it without having to worry about people looking in. The prismatic effect work nicely when it’s sunny - I think it looks quite subtle and classy - and you get little rainbows of light on your walls! Now the evenings and mornings are a little darker, I’m leaving bedroom blind fully open at night, and waking up to a crescendo of colour - beautiful. I’ve added some pictures (ignore the rest of the house - I’m amid renovation!) - you can also see that at night, with lights and tv on inside, the privacy is still effective!

This window privacy film is brilliant and looks so pretty on our velux windows. So easy to fit to the window and adheres to the glass so easily and without any air bubbles so I’m delighted with it. It’s made of a strong material even though once I had marked out the size I needed I could cut it with scissors. A brilliant way to add privacy to any window without altering the amount of daylight coming through. A great price too.

Absolutely amazing! This worked perfectly. Ignore the negative reviews, they don't know how to use this film properly. First clean your window, 2nd get a spray and fill it part Johnson baby shampoo or no tears shampoo and water (exact mix on a popular video where). Spray HEAVERLY the window. Now get your film and carefully peel away one corner, spray the part of film that's going on the window. Gently peel more away and each time spray, this way if it folds back on itself it won't stick. Once peel is complete put on the window. Put top left of film against top left of glass, this way you get a perfect top line and left vertical line. Move film around till it's positioned perfectly. Get your squeegy and go from middle of the top of glass over to the left to get rid of the air bubbles and liquid, now do the same from top middle to right. Now work your way down. Once all air bubbles are gone cut the excess of using a fresh blade and a Stanley knife. Best go back to the video website (you know the one) to see how to cut with a perfect line. Done. Couldn't be easier. Many thanks guys!!!

Got it for my shed window and looks great. Prevents view into shed well. Easy to fit my small window but not sure how it would be to do a large area

Well after reading all the reviews that clearly stated to take the backing film off, I still forgot to take the backing film off! lol anyway, it arrived today & within an hour it was done. I ordered the larger roll as my door is oversized. I needed it because people can look over straight into my kitchen & i didn't want a door curtain up as my cooker is too close & it would continually get greasy from cooking, so I decided his might be worth a try. you cannot see into my kitchen now but I have all the light beaming through still. From outside the design looks a lot darker in the day so I'm waiting till tonight to see what you can see outside looking in. this has really solved my problem, it looks stunning & once you do remember to take off the backing it sticks perfectly. you can only see outlines of things, no faces. it's brill. I'm really really happy with it.

The best option is the cutting knife included, but the thickness of the film and removing the protective film takes ages, and made me doubting that there is any of it, it's thinner than human hair and finding the edge of it to remove it is torture, you can try with you mouth with tongue and teeth as nails and strong glasses wouldn't help. should be something like extra little edge to find it easier , not spending 2 hours to remove the protective film. the stickiness as well is challenging, the thickness and sticking to itself with strength needed to separate it and despite of much of water still bubbles of air everywhere and squeegee included doesn't help much. the amount of sunshine coming through is still too much to stop the hot feeling when stand next to window. wouldn't buy again.

Easy to apply and very effective. Was surprised how good this product is. On applying just use a lot of water. The cutting tool that comes with it is terrible, use your own craft knife.

S’applique très facilement. Laisse passer la lumière de manière plus douce. Plus aucune visibilité de se qui passe chez moi, le top, même dans les espaces entre les carreaux. J’en suis ravi!

E' sicuramente uno tra i prodotti acquistati su Amazon che mi hanno dato maggiore soddisfazione. Facile da applicare, aderisce perfettamente e l'effetto finale è davvero fantastico. Con la luce del sole ma anche con i fari delle macchine riflette colori bellissimi che riscaldano l'ambiente e portano il buonumore. Da quando li ho messi ai vetri della finestra della camera da letto non chiudo più le persiane, mi piace aprire gli occhi al mattino e vedere come prima cosa i riflessi colorati sul vetro. Mi sono anche divertita a ritagliare forme rotonde e quadrate per decorare la porta finestra della cucina. Bello bello bello!

Nous avons installé sur des velux de 96x93cm, afin de réduire la température de la pièce. Conseils: si vous avez plus de film que besoin, découpez une bande de 10 cm et faites un essai sur une vitre afin de vous familiariser avec le produit. Installer dans une pièce où il n’y a pas de poussière, poils d’animaux.., car avec l’électricité statique ça vient se coller et impossible à enlever. Il vaut mieux être 2 c’est plus simple. Je pense que le film protecteur ne devrait pas être enlevé dans sa totalité mais au fur et à mesure de la pose. Ça évite que le film se colle si vous bougez, et évite de se salir avec des poussières. Mouiller la fenêtre, mais ensuite commencez à poser env 10cm et remettez de l’eau pour les centimètres suivants, ne pas lésiner, plus y a d’eau plus c’est facile. Sinon si vous mouillez la fenêtre et que vous ne remettez pas d’eau, le temps que vous ajustiez, l’eau aura coulé en bas... Nous avons coupé à la mesure avant de poser et n’avons pas eu à retailler. Pour l’instant nous sommes satisfaits du produit : n’assombrit pas trop, très léger. On va attendre les fortes chaleur pour voir la différence.
