Very simple effective product to protect your outside tap from the elements. Great VFM.

Bought tap cover to protect outside tap from freezing. Used for 2 winters & it’s still in good condition. It’s removed in summer & stored in shed ready to use when frost starts. One person can fit this easily. Cover interior is polystyrene. exterior is waterproof. A circular rubber band on interior fits over tap handle, the cover is then held against the wall with one hand while gently pulling rubber string on the exterior to tighten cover over the tap & fit snugly to wall. There is a slide fastener that holds the cover in place

Really good product, effective at covering outside tap to prevent freezing. The cover is easy to fix to the tap, it sits snugly to the wall and is a great fit. I would recommend. Seller was good, received in good time frame and packaged well

The label on the item was partly torn off. Not critical for the use of the item, but not quite proper for a new item. The cover is quite easy to use, but as mentioned in some comments, it is on the small side. needed to remove the adapter for the garden hose to make the cover fit. I also had to adapt the cover to fit a small piece of pipe that runs along the wall. This was actually quite easy by cutting out a slot in the hard plastic cover.

Bought one in September 2021 and it did the job for four Scottish winters. Still in good condition when I removed it last Spring so I stored it safely to reuse this Winter - so safely that I can't find it and have had to order a replacement!

Initially, I was impressed with the design which looked far better than some of the options on offer. BUT, it's not necessarily a 'universal' fit! This is not helped by the lack of dimensions mentioned in the description and images which only states the "spout height"(?) of 140mm. Tellingly, you may even have noticed that the ONLY thing missing from the detailed technical drawing image are the measurements! This means that until you try to physically fit the cover to YOUR tap you won't know if you are one of the unlucky (possibly around 10%) customers that it won't. So my top tip is: Don't attempt to remove the large stick-on label (which incidentally seems to be glued on using the same glue that holds the Clifton Suspension Bridge in place!) until you have established it actually fits your tap, just in case you have to return it. e.g. If your tap protrudes too far from the wall or the distance from the tap handle to the bottom of the spout is too great there's not enough room in the tapered design to allow a snug fit with the (flimsy) 'draught excluder' foam and the wall. Still, it's better than nothing.... Isn't it?🤔
