Battery life of the remote is excellent, and when charging is needed you can simply use your existing phone charger as it uses a USB C connection 👍 I would suggest connecting a Bluetooth keyboard if you have one for setup, as typing in various passwords for WIFI, your Apple account, BBC account etc. can be tiresome when using the remote. Apples TV OS is a lesson in how an operating system can be advanced yet incredibly easy to use. Even my parents who are both in their mid 70's are happy using it. Picture quality is a decent step up from my previous TV box (BT TV 4K), its also better than the picture I get natively from the apps running on my TV. The same can be said for sound, its improved in all areas. (I recommend using a decent HDMI cable for connection, as this can affect performance) You can also access your photos and music if you're already using other Apple products.
