Pentel 1.0mm Tip Hybrid Gel Grip Dx Ultra Smooth Pigment Ink Pen with Chunky Barrel - White

This pen is great! Not quite an ink, not quite a gel this pen leaves a beautiful, clean and slightly raised matt line and flows smoothly on most papers and cards. It sits perfectly in the hand with a good grip that helps reduce slips. I've never found a good white pen before but I am loving this one. Its easy to use and looks good and dries very quickly so smudging is almost impossible. I will absolutely be buying more of these! Delivery was quick and it was ackaged in a simple envelope with a slip of buddle wrap to protect it so it fit in the letter box and sustained no damage at all. A great little pen for working artists and hobbyists both! Great for graphic work and for final detailing.

I bought this pen to overwrite an out of date telephone number on printed business cards. It works very well, producing fine, clear numbers on a fairly glossy purple surface. Perfect for this fairly demanding application, so I predict the pen will work for you too!

This is a reasonably good gel pen, but it works better on some surfaces than others, if you use it on anything you have inked or painted in any way it clogs up really easily. It unclogs easily enough if you roll it a couple of times on scrap paper but it's a tad annoying if you are making a batch of cards... that being said I am yet to find another brand that is any better and I have bought this one more than once, I will buy it again.

First time buyer. I am very satisfied with opacity and whitness. The pen is very consistent with white line.

I bought this to draw highlights onto my artwork which is otherwise done with Letraset Promarkers. It's okay. It's good for small details but if you try to do a larger area or even draw a line in two strokes instead of one smooth stroke, it becomes obvious that you have used a ball point pen as the pen strokes are almost impossible to hide. This gets worse as time goes on so when I first received the pen and it had a lot of ink in it, this wasn't such a big problem, but later on it became more problematic. All in all I don't regret my purchase especially as it was cheap, however I have now ordered some proper white ink in a bottle which I can apply using a brush when I need bigger white areas than my little pen can manage.

Good service via the Royal Mail, appropriate packaging. The pen is comfortable to hold and writes smoothly; the white ink has good pigmentation but I found that I needed to write at a moderate speed to ensure a good flow of ink that dried evenly and showed up on the recycled card stock that I like to use. This will have its uses in embellishing my cards, however, I prefer the Uni-ball signo white pen for writing.

I recently bought a tan coloured sketchbook and wanted to be able to add cool white highlights to my drawings. This pen does exactly that with a crisp white finish which looks awesome on brown and black paper. The nib looks quite large at first but the line thickness comes out pretty much the same width as your average biro. I feel like it's gonna last a good amount of time and therefore its good value for money. It arrived fast and easy with no disappointments or unpleasant surprises. Would definitely recommend to a fellow artist :)

The pen is really good but when the description said 1.0mm I was expecting a much thinner nib. It's good for large areas and inking on black paper or ink - but if you want to use this for fine detail, you might find it a little difficult. Other than that, it's really good and I would probably buy it again.

Habe mir den Stift aufgrund der guten Bewertungen gekauft. Was soll ich sagen, der Pentel Stift ist genial. Ich hatte vorher einen anderen weißen Gelstift von einer bekannten Marke. Mit diesem war nicht zufrieden, da die Miene auf dem Papier kratzte und es auch oft weiße Patzer gab. Da dieser leer war musste ein neuer her. Ich kann den Pentel empfehlen. Der Stift schreibt sehr weich, kein kratzen und keine Patzer. Durchgängiges weißes Schriftbild. Man kann das Geschriebene auch nochmals nachfahren. Auch auf Tonpapier (getestet auf dunkelblau und orange). Deshalb 5 Sterne!!!
