You must read the instructions! The strap is held onto the ear muffs by a clamp. This clamp is hard to unlock, so don't be tempted to just pull the strap through the closed clamp otherwise you'll damage the strap. Be patient and unlock the clamp, adjust then lock. Very good fit and their light weight means baby hardly notices them.

I was pretty sceptical at first due to mixed reviews but still bought them anyway. All I’ve got to say is that they work, I ended up taking the band of completely and securing the defenders inside of my sons hood as the band looked like it squished his head and they still worked. Slept through the entire fireworks display. Only down side would be putting them together as they get really stuck and the band not being able to go over their head.

These work really well, I took my 5 week old baby to the fireworks and she didn’t wake up the whole entire time. Perfect well worth it!

They're a bit finicky to assemble, it's quite hard to get the plastic covers off in order to attach the earmuffs to the band (I had to get help). Additionally, it's difficult to get them on baby's head without help too, and they tend to slip off the ears. When they're on properly, however, they do what's on the box. I had my newborn son wear these for my mum's 60th birthday party because of the loud music, and he slept like a log through it.

Great product. Used on my little boy for an airshow. Did the job of protecting his ears really well, and he kept them on his head quite happily. Seems nice and comfortable. Would recommend.

Not usually one to do a review, but it felt very necessary with these… Took our 3 week old to the fireworks and he SLEPT through the whole thing. A little tough to get them to sit right with the strap and his tiny head, so I put him in the baby carrier and just held them in place. He didn’t startle, didn’t bat an eyelid, slept through the whole 20 minute display. Absolutely worth the purchase

Dieser Gehörschutz ist klasse! Ich habe mich bewusst für das Markenprodukt von Alpine entschieden und habe es bis jetzt nicht bereut! Unser Sohn (damals 4 Monate alt) hat ein bisschen Zeit gebraucht, um sie zu akzeptieren, wir haben erstmal zu Hause nur kurz geübt und wenn er gemeckert hat sie wieder abgenommen. Inzwischen (nun fast 6 Monate alt) akzeptiert er sie problemlos. So konnte er Weihnachten mit in den Gottesdienst und hat die ganze Zeit durchgeschlafen, obwohl es sehr sehr laut war. Was ich super finde, ist, dass die Ohrschützer einzeln abnehmbar sind. So kann er in der Trage trotzdem auf dem freien Ohr einen Schutz tragen und gemütlich eingekuschelt sein. Mir gefällt auch, dass der Schutz für Kinder bis 3 Jahre geeignet ist, da lohnt sich die Anschaffung dann eher, als wenn ihn nur Babys tragen könnten.
