Belfry Swing Arm Floor Lamp, Antique Brass finish supplied complete with Parchment shade

Compared with the price of a lot of the retro lamps listed I was expecting something a little more cheaply made. It’s not. Good sturdy tubes and all you do is screw it together. No faffing in threading the cable through. The instructions supplied for the placing of the shade are incorrect but it’s simple enough to figure out without them. Looks stunning in my living room. Long cable and it is a screw lightbulb fitting. Dead chuffed with this bargain

Very good finish, and easy to assemble – just ensure the threads are correctly lined up before tightening the pole parts, and remember to pull the cord through the base as you go. Note: this takes screw-in (ES27) bulbs, not bayonet-type. The shade is better quality than I expected, and the packaging is secure. Good value at £52.44 Prime.

I am very pleased with the lamp. For just shy of £60.00 it looks good, was easy to put together, and seems sturdy. The right size for a corner in a small room too. The only thing that I didn't like was the decorative ring (attached to the shade fixing nut) which stuck up over the lamp shade. I removed it with my trusty junior hacksaw. I am much happier now that the nut fixing is flush with the top of the shade.

I like this lamp. It throws out a good amount of light and the little arm makes it easy to position where you need the light to go. Having the little foot pedal makes it easy to put on and off. The only thing is found it was 2 person job to put it together

Looks well made. Came in pieces to put together. We knew this was the case. What we didn't expect was there are NO instructions of how to put it together. I wonder who is going to get cross in the next hour or so, me, or the hubby UPDATE very simple to put together. Lovely lamp. Very pleased with purchase and would recommend. As its not too big/tall and has a small footprint.

The lamp was fine, but came without the felt base.

Mums much loved lamp gave up the ghost just before the 2 year warranty ran out. In my experience of this happening, many companies will not honour the warranty, despite it being, from a legal perspective, within the time period. They will complicate things and make life difficult, in order for you to just give in and not bother. I shan't mention any names....Vax and Kaercher! Occasionally, and sadly very occasionally you get an honest and upright company who stick to the rules and respect your hard earnt money and it's so refreshing! We actually asked for a replacement, instead of a refund as not only was the lamp very good for the reasonable price, but the attitude was polite, helpful and QUICK to respond and resolve the issue. I think even if the new lamp lasts not much over 2 years, it will still be worth every penny. It's a sturdy lamp though, so hopefully it will be a one off and last Mum a good few years!
