It chemically bonds to metal surfaces inside manual and automatic transmissions, forming a protective layer that reduces damaging friction and heat. This treatment improves gear shift smoothness, restores transmission responsiveness, and protects against wear under extreme pressure, helping to prevent costly repairs and extend transmission life. ## Description Prolong Super Lubricants PSL15000 Transmission Treatment - 8-Ounce Bottle is formulated with AFMT advanced technology. It is engineered to treat the metal surfaces of both standard (manual) and automatic transmissions. As the transmission fluid or gear oil circulates, Prolong Transmission Treatment molecules interact with all of the metal surfaces, chemically bonding to create a protective layer that reduces potentially damaging friction and heat. Prolong Transmission Treatment is particularly effective under extreme pressure conditions, providing significant protection against the most costly automotive repairs. It promotes smoother manual shifts and helps restore responsiveness in automatic transmissions, especially in critical quick-acceleration conditions. ## Features - May cause harm to breast-fed children. - Includes a Formula with Anti-Friction Metal Treatment Technology - Features Engineering Designed to Treat Metal Surfaces Through a Molecular and Chemical Process - Offers Molecules that Interact with Metal Surfaces and Chemically Bond to Create a Protective Layer that Reduces Damaging Friction and Heat - Offers to Treat the Metal Surfaces of Both Standard (Manual) and Automatic Transmissions - Features a Formula that Promotes Smoother Manual Shifts and Helps Restore Responsiveness in Automatic Transmissions ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001DKV5H8 | | Best Sellers Rank | 1,066,192 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 354 in Automotive Brake Quiet | | Brand Name | Prolong Super Lubricants | | Compatible Material | Metal | | Container Type | Bottle | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,423) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00607712150001 | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Weight | 331 g | | Liquid Volume | 236.59 Millilitres | | Manufacturer | Prolong Super Lubricants | | Material | Synthetic | | Model Number | PSL15000 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | PSL15000 | | Recommended Uses For Product | treating manual and automatic transmissions | | Specific Uses For Product | Improving manual and automatic transmission operation and longevity | | UPC | 607712150001 | | Unit Count | 8.0 millilitre | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Prolong Super Lubricants - **Item weight:** 331 g - **Liquid volume:** 236.59 Millilitres - **Material:** Synthetic - **Package information:** Bottle ## Images ![Prolong Super Lubricants PSL15000 Transmission Treatment, 8 oz - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61pyjw3rxjL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: This product, can be used in a hyundai santa fe 2004 2.4L 4cyl?** A: Yes, I am using it with my Hyundai as I am using it with all other cars. **Q: How many quarts of transmission fluid (my tranny holds 11 quarts) does one bottle treat?** A: As far as I know, one bottle is good for the average automobile transmission. **Q: can I use in toyota highlander 2003 four cylinder SUV?** A: What makes a Toyota Highlander different from any other internal combustion engine? **Q: can this be used in a 2012 jeep patriot** A: It can be used in ANY transmission.
