Good Enough.
Wore the over trousers for the first time today,1st feb 2020, when there were high winds and heavy rain. They kept me both warm and dry. The stud fastening at hems was a bonus as this feature prevented the bottoms of my proper trousers from getting wet which was a problem with the over trousers I am replacing. These are described as lightweight. That said they are not as a light as the basic nylon over trousers ,still light weight but more substantial. They feel like they would do a good job and they do. My only grumble would be that although you can choose waist sizes there does not appear to be a choice of leg length so at a guess I would say these are about a 34" inside leg.I am a 30 IL so they are quite baggy on me. Not worth the cost of having them taken up. Overall for the price a good pair of over trousers which keep me dry even in weather where rain was being driven in 60MPH winds.

got lots of use, but wouldn't buy again.
At first this was a really good product, did exactly what they are supposed to, keeps you dry when you need. Delivery was really quick. After a short while of wearing, the stud fastenings around the ankles came off completely. Also the pockets were baggy, caught one of the pockets on a low hanging branch and the seams literally fell apart. Might have just been my pair, but they did tend to rip very easily.

Comfortable, practical walking trousers
These Regatta walking trousers are comfortable, lightweight, and ideal for hiking or everyday outdoor use. The fit is good, with plenty of freedom of movement, and the fabric dries quickly if caught in a shower. The water-repellent finish works well in light rain, and the trousers are durable enough for regular walks and longer hikes. The pockets are useful, and they feel well made without being too heavy or restrictive. Excellent value for money and a great choice for anyone who enjoys walking, hiking, or spending time outdoors. Would definitely buy again.

Great at first, but don’t last
Had 2 pairs of these now as they’re the cheapest waterproof pants on Amazon, sadly there’s a reason they’re cheap. They just don’t last, they’re pretty poor quality, they rip along the seams and after 2-3 months they tear like paper even away from seams, like in the middle of the knee etc. Can’t be doing with spending any more on these. It’s a false economy. Gonna just buy some more expensive ones once summer is over.

Waterproof?
I purchased these large, shiny, baggy overtrousers not to look like a disgruntled British fisherman, but to keep whatever trousers I had underneath safe and dry from the great British weather that we like to call rain. Imagine my excitement yesterday when I had a free afternoon from the wife, a dog in need of walk, a route planned carefully ensuring that I both left from my front door and returned to it within a 5 mile radius, and most importantly, rain. I drank my coffee rapidly before leaving house as I didn't want to risk taking it with me for fear of being set upon by the local constabulary and being arrested for having a picnic. I blame Boris. The route took me through the local hills and woodland, the rain lashed down, not a soul about, the woodland car parks were empty, not even a dogger in sight. I blame Boris. On my return to the house some 3 hours later, I boldly walked into the hallway, slipped off my shoes and peeled off my Regatta waterproof overtrousers which appeared to be as wet on the inside as they were on the outside. My jeans underneath, to my astonishment, appeared to be even wetter than that. Now, I'm a 46 year old man, and that my friends makes me about 16 years above the target age for skinny jeans. However, like many British men my age, I cling to my youth like a dog with a bone, and I refuse to give up and buy slacks. I haven't been able to touch my toes for about 10 years, which made the removal of my very wet skinny jeans from my very wet fat legs about as easy as removing wallpaper. It was at precisely this moment, whilst sat on the cold tiled floor, which by now was equally as wet as the fat arse sat upon it, that my muddy wet dog mounted my back from behind to thank me in his own special way for taking him on a long walk. Who would've thought he would still have that much energy left, who would've thought he would still have that much strength? Luckily for me, he hadn't spotted the wet overtrousers bundled up on the floor and with one of his more energetic thrusts, his rear paws slipped from under him and he fell in a heap, giving me the opportunity to crawl to the kitchen on all fours (with my skinny jeans still refusing to let go of my calves). The dog and I still haven't made eye contact. The wife is oblivious. I will not trust these trousers in the future and will look elsewhere. The only positive is that they cost just £10.
