Vitax SBK 750ml Ready-to-Use Brushwood Killer Tough Weedkiller

This is my go - to brushwood Killer. Safe and easy to use and does the trick every time. Highly recommend to all keen gardeners.

This is pretty vicious stuff! It works great on brambles, ivy, bindweed, "Mother-in-law's Tongue", and will walk all over lesser weeds, and we will try it on a sycamore sapling when we have one that is growing somewhere apart from other plants (other killers like Resolva don't seem to work on those). Because it seems rather harsh we have to be incredibly careful about where we spray it, and I'm considering using a coth to hold behind the leaves that are being sprayed simply to prevent overspray, just in case our wanted plants get even a little on them. The idea then would be to use that cloth sprayed with the excess SBK on other leaves, rather along the lines of the gel weedkillers that are also available for use in tight spaces. Based on its somewhat ruthless effectiveness I'd advise caution around lawns and wanted plants, although for what it's worth we accidentally sprayed a laurel in a minor way and it seemed fine about it, so there's evidently a limit to what it will kill!

Arrived over packaged in about 10 layers of awful sticky plastic, but even that wasn't enough to prevent the product from leaking, think another should have been sent if the packing was an attempt to cover leakage! The product itself is not very fast acting, but does seem to be killing off most of the ash saplings treated. Couldn't find a better alternative on the market, especially ready to use, but may just resort to elbow grease and digging up in future!

This stuff is brilliant. I had nettles along my boundary hedge and I gave them a good squirt with this and within days they'd wilted and after a couple of weeks they'd gone completely. It didn't kill the grass or any sections of the hedge. I didn't bother with the granules as this was ready mixed to the right proportions. I think if you have a large field to do then that's what you need but for random patches of nettles this did the job and saved me the time and bother of mixing (even though I paid more per litre)

Haven't used it yet hopefully itcwill do what it says.

This product was recommended by a gardener for killing brambles and it definitely works. I have a problem with brambles growing from a neglected garden next door. Spray this on and watch it work over a few days. This is the 3rd year I've used this. Would definitely recommend for getting rid of brambles. It doesn't work so well on ivy - perhaps as the leaves are more 'leathery'.
