Review: Good balance of price, performance, quality, durability - Continental has been my go-to bike tyre brand for the last >30 years and more than 200,000 miles as a cyclist. Good balance of price, performance, quality and durability, which is why they get my repeat business.
Review: Robust rubber - Apprehensive to purchase at first due to the high price of each individual tyre BUT remembering you get what you pay for I took the plunge And so pleased I did! Opened the box to find a durable tyre, well made that had the feel of being tough. Fitting was relatively easy to my mavic rims and look really trick on my Boardman CX Team Out for my first ride I noticed some rolling noise but I guess thats the sheer width of these 32mm tyres; however the width and subsequent grip gives me further confidence in cornering. Whilst out riding I hit several patches of gravel which, with previous tyres, would likely have resukted in a puncture - but these tyres shrugged it all off with not even a witness mark on them (I know as I checked!) All in despite the high price I recommend these tyres for winter riding (My CX is my winter steed) and commuting UPDATE! Hit some broken head light glass with my rear gator tyre and, although the rubber layer, was ripped no puncture was had where other tyres would, I'm sure, have failed Very very impressed 👍

**Q: Which one is it, a 700c or 28 inch?**
A: 700c

**Q: I have used previously continental ultra sport ii 23-622 (700x23c). can i replace with these tyre?this tyre is 28 inch, would this be a problem?**
A: Good  on dry surface! Just be careful on wet surface! In general I like it

**Q: Are these wet and dry road tyres or just dry?**
A: For wet no debries roads these should work fine. There are Continental Contact Plus for more robustness too.

**Q: Is 23 the minimum width it will fit, or will it fit an 18?**
A: They are wired rimmed and to be honest, I struggle getting them on to my 23c wheels.  Maybe check the manufacturer website for size ranges. Unless it specifically states 18, I wouldn't risk it.
