I'd eyed this for a while and finally decided to pick it up. It's a really sturdy and lovely piece. My son loves making the changes each day and it's been great for him getting to grips with the order of the days of the week. My only critique is that there aren't more plain pieces for us to make our own activity badges. I know that once the novelty of using it goes for him, my daughter will be ready to use it so I see us getting use out of this for many years.

I worried that it wouldn’t do everything I wanted out of a child-friendly calendar, but the kids absolutely love it and it’s helped them loads. Well designed and enjoyable.

I am a huge fan of Melissa and Doug toys, but I must confess I am a little disappointed with this one. The idea is marvellous, but the construction is not up to the usual standard I have come to expect from Melissa and Doug. There are rough edges which require sanding before allowing a child to touch it (I got a splinter opening the packaging), there are a few circular dents in the wood, presumably caused during production, the straps holding the two halves together are noticeably wonky and I was expecting there to be some form of clasp to hold the two halves together when closed. Having said that, there are numerous 'responsibilities', with four blank magnets to add your own, and more than enough reward magnets to choose from. There are also magnets which praise good behaviour, such as 'thank you' and 'excellent' which will mean a huge amount to any child. I already know that my 3 1/2 year old daughter loves sticker charts and she is very excited to have a new, magnetic one that will last considerably longer than her previous paper one! Despite the slight issues with the quality, this is good value for money and I would still recommend this product to a friend, just have some sandpaper on standby for when it arrives!

My little boy loves this, he gets up every morning and changes the date and days on it and checks the weather outside before deciding what to put. Is really helping him with leaning the order of the days of the week.

So happy with this! Spent a fortune in the past on a tiny one from a SEN supplier and you can't even compare the two. Purchased for my 9 year old who has Autism & ADHD. Its heavier than I was expecting, built well and the magnets are great with a wide range of choices to pop on. They also include 4 blank ones to write your own. If you needed more custom ones to you could buy extra magnets elsewhere cheap and use with it. Will be recommending this to people who are looking for similar! Thanks so much.

This is a really good way to motivate young children as they love to earn credits. I would have liked one or two extra tasks such as "Ate all my dinner/tea", " Behaved at mealtime" but this may reflect my particular problems with our ofspring. Although there are blanks to write these on the official ones carry more "weight" and look more professional. Nevertheless this is an excellent way of working with children to set targets and , hence, the 5 stars. It is well made and robust. Certainly worth serious consideration.

Since getting this, we use it every morning and my daughter loves moving all the magnets. Very good for fine motor skills and helps my autistic child

Me ha gustado mucho porque tiene muchas tareas para ejecutar ,incluida la de cuidar a los animales y las blancas para hacer la que tu quieras. Tambien me gusta porque al venir en ingles puedes practicar con los niños el idioma en cosas concretas. A mi me esta funcionando con mi hijo de 7 años... eso de tener una recompensa al final de la semana le motiva mucho.

Ordered for my six years old daughter, she likes the innovative concept of the calendar. Helps kids to learn the day-to-day basics. Pros: Easy to understand, lots of options for combination, colorful! Cons: A bit heavy (probably due to magnetic arrangement).

Using for my kindergardner

Ottimo prodotto. Mia figlia è entusiasta (5anni). La domenica scegliamo assieme gli obiettivi, ce ne sono diversi già pronti più altri 4 magneti bianchi su cui possiamo scrivere degli obiettivi personalizzabili. Se devo trovare un difetto lo trovo nel fatto che lo spazio sottostante dove tenere le calamite "in attesa" è troppo piccolo e non ci vanno tutte quando la tabella di sopra è vuota. Sta aiutando mia figlia ad essere più costante e ad imparare nuove abitudini. Devo dire che da quando l'abbiamo presa la sua stanza è decisamente più in ordine e non c'è un giorno in cui non si lavora i denti. Poi è bello quando viene da me e chiede come può aiutarmi (c'è il magnete "aiutare la mamma" e "aiutare il papà"). Anche se è solo per conquistarsi un magnete in più ma mi va bene così, col tempo si abituerà a collaborare spontaneamente (spero). I primi giorni quando tornava dall'asilo entrava a casa col pensiero di mettere la tavola! Diciamo che è un ottimo strumento educativo, utilizzato nel modo giusto. L'importante è impostare e quantificare bene il discorso premi-numero di magneti, senza pretendere la perfezione e allo stesso tempo senza farla troppo facilmente raggiungibile. Non mi piace il concetto di fare qualcosa per ottenere il premio, ma ammetto che funziona meglio di tante altre cose, poi una volta appresa l'abitudine comunque quello specifico magnete viene meno ma l'abitudine resta quindi il suo dovere lo fa
