Also, 'not to be sprayed in the presence of a child less than 1 year old' and 'keep children out of the room for 30 minutes after spraying.' I've been using it as an air spray for a couple of years or more now and really like it and other Puressentiel products. **Q: Can you use this on your kitchen worktops?** A: The short answer would be I’m not sure! However, since this is a very heavily scented spray, with a strong perfume, I would be concerned that your worktops would retain its smell and transfer its perfume to any thing else you may put there. I really don’t think it should be used near food. Not that it would be poisonous since it is made with natural essential oils but I wouldn’t like to taste it! Overall, I would not use it on worktops. I am very happy with it in our bathrooms as it freshens the air very effectively and lingers in the air for hours. It’s ‘perfume’ is very fresh and clinical, and it lasts for ages as one spray from the can is sufficient to achieve a fresh and what smells like a sterile environment. **Q: I’ve just received my first bottle and i’m a bit concerned that under the active substances it says biocidal product: pt02. isn’t that a chemical?** A: PT02 is a classification under the regulatory body - Biocidal Products Directive (BPD) Essentisl oils have microbial and disinfecting properties therefore they have biocidal activity - they are active substances. Therefore my guess is that they are listing, (legally required) their classification.
