Gator Cases Gig Bag for Extreme Guitar Styles; Fits Flying V, Explorer, & more (GBE-EXTREME-1)

After looking ewherywhwre for a gig bag for my usnusually shapped bass (it has a very long horn stretching up till 7 fret), I found this bag. Though fitted for guitars, it is long enough to put a bass in without any issues. Quality is nice for a lightweight gig bag, perfect for carrying to the gig or studio on your shoulders. Simple and functional design with slightly extra protecttion near the headstock.

I took a gamble when buying this product as the guitar I bought it for was not listed in the description, and to my surprise it fit perfectly! I can now stop dragging around my massive (and very heavy) rectangular hard-shell case for my Ibanez Iceman whenever I need to bring it with me to gigs and to uni. I also own an Epiphone Flying V which I did not have a gig bag or case for and until now just been a bedroom guitar, I can happily say it will see much more use from now on thanks to this well fitted bag. I read the 1 star review before buying but I didn't let it put me off as gig bags for Iceman style guitars are impossible to find and for less than £25 this item was a steal. Since I've only had it today I cannot comment on the sturdiness of the bag or how long it will last me. Overall, as far as value for money is concerned, this is a great gig bag. It fits oddly shaped guitars perfectly and has pockets for storing cables and other equipment. I personally recommend this if you need a gig bag for an Iceman or Flying V.

It fits my Jackson Baldini V perfectly, and is quite a bit more protective on the bottom wing tip areas than the Jackson-made King V gig bag. The only awkward thing is that the headstock/top end does not zip open all the way back, so you have to kind of wrestle with it in order to get your guitar in. It's a fairly annoying design flaw. I use the convenient middle handle a lot, and the zippered pocket is quite large and useful. Overall, I like the look of this gig bag, and it's perfect for a "home use only" guitar.

Seems to be a nice basic protection for a guitar. Absolutely as expected and advertised.

Avendo bisogno di una custodia pratica e poco ingombrante per chitarre dalle cosiddette forme estreme (Dean Razorback, Dean Zero, DBZ Bird Of Prey, Flying V.....) ho deciso di provare questo modello, forte di precedenti esperienze positive con il marchio Gator. Il prodotto si è rivelato di ottima fattura, imbottito quanto basta (ovviamente non sarai mai come una custodia rigida) e pratico da trasportare grazie alle varie maniglie e allo spallaccio rimovibile. Presenta anche una tasca decisamente capiente dopo poter riporre cavi ed accessori. Soddisfatto? Direi di si visto che ne ho comprate 4 :D

Llevaba años buscando una funda para mi dean y ésta le queda perfectamente. Había intentado con una de Jackson RR y no era suficiente. De calidad, como todo lo Gator, se ve que te va a servir para toda la vida; buen material, buenas costuras. Muy bien. El precio está elevado, pero, ni modo, vale la pena.
