STANLEY FATMAX 8m/26' Tape Measure, Blade Armour Coating, 3.3m Standout, 0-33-726

I’ve been using the Stanley FatMax 8m tape measure for a while now and it’s easily one of the best tape measures I’ve owned. The build quality feels very solid and durable, and it’s clearly designed to handle regular site use without feeling flimsy. One of the standout features is the blade standout. I can extend it several meters without it bending, which makes solo measuring much easier when you don’t have someone holding the other end. The markings are clear and easy to read, even in lower light, and the blade coating seems to resist wear well. The case has a nice rubberized grip which makes it comfortable to hold and less likely to slip out of your hand. The lock mechanism also feels firm and reliable—once locked, the tape doesn’t creep back in like cheaper models. The belt clip is sturdy and holds well, and the tape retracts smoothly without snapping back too aggressively. Overall, this is a tough, reliable tape measure that’s perfect for DIY, construction, or general household use. It costs a bit more than basic tape measures, but the durability and ease of use make it well worth it. I’d definitely buy it again.

As the name implies, it really is fat. I wasn’t expecting it to be this big, but I like it. It’s very sturdy and you can tell it is of great quality. I only use it for the odd measurement, but it does the job in those contexts.

Good tape but turns out I’m only 3” made me sad but it’s good quality

at first seemed a great tape looked strong like it should be 3 days I'm use I clip the tape on where i wanted to start my measurement ie corner of a plaster wall I pulled to 2.5m wen t mark wall gave little stretch to get exact measurement the metal top came off the tape so easy it was laughable I was stunned

Es un metro tipo del Reino Unido que tiene metros y pulgadas/pies. Para los que no saben, es muy útil tener pulgadas cuando estas montando vigas y Pares de cubiertas. Normalmente las vas poniendo con espacios centrados a 400mm o 600mm pero los tableros de OSB o lo que sea en España normalmente vienen en 2440 X 1220 que cuando lo divides por seis sale a 406,6mm o por cuatro a 610mm, así que siempre hay que cortar el tablero y hay desperdicio. 406,6mm es exactamente 16 pulgadas y el metro va marcando cada 16 pulgadas, así que no tienes que contar cuando estas marcando ni hay desperdició de tableros, esta todo ahí marcado en el metro. Así vas trabajando mas rápido y eficientemente.

This should be the most common version of this tape measure. It is a superior tape measure plus it includes metric markings. Indeed I live in the USA, but if I'm not measuring studs or something inherently imperial, metric is so much easier to use.

Brede goed afleesbare rolmeter, hij buigt pas door in horizontale vrije houding na 250 cm en vertikaal bijna 300 cm. Hopelijk gaat deze ook een tijdje mee.
