Does it explain the smell?

No it doesn’t but it’s a pleasant smell

Some reviewers have mentioned this soap is good for washing hair. I tried it but found it makes hair rough. How do you overcome that?

Try using a slightly acidic conditioner after is will bring the hair back to life.

It uses palm oil!! Is this sustainable palm oil or the non sustainable I.e.- sourced from places detroying natural habitats of urangutans?

With regards to the issue of sustainable Palm Kernel Oil, you can be guaranteed that our Palm Kernel Oil and Coconut Oils and even the Cocoa Pods Ash are all sustainable products in Ghana, mainly due to the fact that these are all staple agro products that are continuously farmed and grown within the country.
