Received this book today and it looks good. Quite basic and now I have it I see it's actually aimed at children not adults, however as a complete beginner to calligraphy I think I will still find it useful as a starting point. It has good basic instructions and places to practice, as well as inspirational quotes on each page. The downside it is doesn't tell you anything about the pens or nibs to use, it just says "calligraphy pen" with no further details. A good starting book I think but I shall soon be needing a more complex and informative book.

I don't like to give a product a negative review but I am, afraid this is not really fit for the purpose. The title states it's Caligraphy hand lettering for beginners, training, exercise and practice. There is lots of exercises for practice but there is very little training or instruction I am afraid. I started with the first exercise in the book and really wish I hadn't as would definitely be returning this otherwise. If you are looking for a beginners guide to calligraphy lettering this is not for you.

My daughter enjoys using it good value starter set.

What an awful book, not only is it of poor quality print but also it is completely aimed at parenting/teaching children yet worded as if the child should be reading it? That being said it is ironically plagued with spelling errors and mistakes, even on the front cover, useless.

Love this for my new hobby.

Basic and simple aimed at a young audience

Completely useless for the purpose I had in mind. Very limited in its scope, and does not give any standard alphabets/fonts. Had to order another, better book instead.
