Original USA-Made Camp Safe 12 Gauge Perimeter Trip Alarm Device

Excellent! I’m a very heavy sleeper and I’ve try a few different camping perimeter alarms before but not any that really wake me up or that would spook off an intruder in the night, this works works well exactly as advertised, I live and hike and camp in grizzly territory so this will help me sleep better.

Use these when camping in areas most people don't go. Use 12 gauge noise shells. Never know when big foot gets curious. Ha! However can put a more lethal shell but not a good idea. Unless for home defense. Never know about zombies. Made in USA. Much better quality then cheaper Chinese made. Tried those and sometimes didn't ignite shell.

I like the slight machined upset on the firing pin that allows you to pressure it “sideways” so that it catches and allows you to easily set the pin. Without it, it would take three hands.Parts are well machined. This is a solid value and quality part for the money.I am going to disassemble it and ensure there’s a coating of lightweight rust inhibitor that won’t get too thick in the cold.

Straight up survived the bang. What else more do I need to put?Simple design. Easy to use. Didn't explode. I'd say that's a win.
