Water Resistant Neoprene Sports Gym Jogging Armband for Apple iPod Classic 80gb, 120gb & 160gb + iPod Video 30gb & 60gb

I was looking for a well-made armband for my iPod Classic 160GB (the slightly older and thicker version) after the absolutely terrible one I bought for the horrendous price of £25 in the Apple store fell apart after just a few uses.I was concerned that extremely reasonable price that this iGadgitz armband was being offered for would be reflected in the quality of the product and was also concerned that my slightly thicker Classic model may not fit, but I decided to go ahead with a purchase anyway based upon the very good reviews on Amazon.I can only say that the reviews were right - this really is an excellent product for the money (plus my iPod fits just fine, albeit snugly, in the case).It is well made (the Neoprene and the transparent panel appear to be much stronger than the Ingadget version from the Apple Store), the 'rear-loading' method for the iPod is extremely simple / practical, the little retaining pocket to the side for excess headphone cable works well and the access hole to the bottom for the USB sync cable means that I can also sync the iPod or use it in my car without ever having to take it out of the case.I use the iPod armband during gym sessions where (not to put too fine a point on it!) I tend to 'perspire' somewhat, but I can confirm that the unit remained very firmly attached to my arm throughout and although the case obviously got slightly damp from my exertions, it did dry out quickly afterwards.All in all, an excellent product for a very reasonable price.

Ive only worn it a couple of times but I found it comfortable, good value and it arrived on time.

An extremely useful accessory for both the sporty and lazy users of the IPod Classic. Useful for the lazy because you won't have to fish it out of your pocket and flick the often stiff hold switch at the top when it's less than a foot away from your face at all times, and useful for the sporty for the same reasons + it won't go flying anywhere during your exercises. Also, it eliminates the nuisance of inadequate headphone cable length; if your cable is particularly short then the IPod is close to your ears anyway, and if it's particularly long you can tuck the excess length into the small slip beside the plastic screen. And yes, you can scroll the wheel through said screen (although it is, admittedly, slightly awkward, however cutting a whole in it isn't out of the question if it becomes too much of a problem.)Along with all this it's durable, fully adjustable, looks cool and is great value for money. Highly recommended for athletics with an IPod classic.

I love this item. its all it says it is. I bought this item a few months back to wear at the gym or while walking. I was worried about it being waterproof but it proved to be true as I wore it on my descent from Ben Nevis when the rain was pouring down. It didn't let me down as my ipod was totally dry when I got to the bottom. it fits comfortably on your arm and you can still access your ipod without having to take it out.Very happy with the quality and would definitely buy again and would recommend to anyone. :-)Thank you iGadgitz

Fits okay, is comfortable, and fully adjusts with the velcro strao to fit almost any size arm, I should think. It holds the iPod very securely in place, and covers it well to prevent it getting rained on, etc.The main problem for me is that the plastic covering over the face of the iPod is too thick and so does not allow me to use the iPod scroll wheel at all for adjusting volume, selecting tracks, or scrolling back and forth through the tracks. To do any of these things you have to take off the armband, disconnect your headphones, and then remove the iPod to use the scroll wheel, and then put it back again when you are done.If you are happy to set up your playlist and your volume and then just go about your gym routine or jogging without needing to adjust anything, then this won't be a problem. However I listen to audibooks and often need to adjust the volume when something loud occurs nearby so as not to miss a few lines, or if I have missed something to scroll back and play it again, but when I am wearing the armband it is a hassle, and I find I am put off using it.

This is the second armband that I ordered as the first one was too small (worth checking that your IPOD fits the armband - it was my first Ipod so I was a bit green about which armband was needed and ordered the armband without getting my Ipod).Anyway, as I had been trying to keep my Ipod in my pocket and worrying about it falling out and hitting different buttons as I had other things in my pocket or it banged against my body, the armband was much appreciated. The Ipod fits very snugly and safely into the holder but, best of all, the clear front cover and space for the controls meant that, when on shuffle, I could easily change the controls and view what song was coming up next.I do a lot of running, and this armband felt comfortable and totally safe (at no point did I worry about it falling off).I would recommend this to anyone who has an Ipod Classic 80gb as it really enhanced my enjoyment of the Ipod when on the move. It was so easy to put on and take off, and felt very secure (and looked stylish). Defo a 5 star product!

I bought this specifically for my 2 ipods. Th original Ipod doesn't fit at all. The Ipod Classic will fit but it is very very tight - maybe it will becaome easier with use. Fits my upper arm well - and I am bigger than average. Seems well made - has slots for charging, headphones and access to the on/off switch. Just about reasonable value

I got this as a present for my Dad and he has been using it several times a week while at the gym. His iPod classic fits in perfectly and he says it doesn't lose any functionality. It doesn't allow for much extra width on the arm, but he doesn't have the slimmest arms and he gets on okay. He hasn't complained of any rubbing or tightness. I was it every now and again with my towels and the velcro is still working perfectly. A super product, I might even get myself one.

Quality wise it's pretty much the same as these things always have been.I use it for my ipod classic (this thin 160gb one) and it fits Fine.Great for working out while listening to music.

I take it on my runs 3-4 times a week. Good for what's advertised, gives me an extra hand to secure my dog leash, comfortable. Sometimes I find it slips a little but I think that's because of the pushup motion and my sweater, so it's not a fault in the product.

Yes! Finally found a great armband for the iPod Classic!! I hope this incredibly awesome gadget (better than any other MP3 player before or since) can stay alive forever. The armband keeps it really secure in the holster, snug on my arm, and I never feel danger of it dropping, getting wet, etc. The look is understated and functional, which I like. It's that sort of neoprene like a wetsuit so it absorbs sweat. Headphone cord slot is key. Only drawback: the click-wheel is covered by the plastic screen coating...duhhh? But I just used an x-acto knife to cut an even, relatively invisible circle out of the plastic and the problem is no more. For the good price, I didn't have a hard time rationalizing that modification.

Ich habe mir die Tasche für den Sport im Fitnessstudio gekauft, da es mir auf Dauer lästig war den doch etwas klobigen I-Pod Classic immer in der Hand zu halten oder in den Bund meiner Hose zu stecken... und ich muss sagen, ich bin voll und ganz zufrieden!In einigen Rezessionen konnte ich im Vorfeld lesen, dass die Nähte und Löcher für Kopfhörer etc. ausgefranst wären o.ä., aber ich kann mich nicht beschweren. Bei mir sieht alles ordentlich aus, die Kopfhörer lassen sich einfach einstecken und auch das Laden geht in der Hülle. Die Bedienung durch die Folie ist auch ohne Probleme möglich und der I-Pod passt gut in die Hülle rein. Die Kopfhörer allerdings, wie auf dem Bild abgebildet durch die Schlaufe zu quetschen, hab ich mir gespart. Keine Ahnung ob es funktionieren könnte, ich finde es einfacher sie hinten zwischen den Klettverschluss zu packen.Zum Tragekomfort... ja, man schwitzt logischerweise unter dem Ding. Ist auf Grund der Größe des I-Pod Classic ja auch kaum verwunderlich und schließlich mache ich damit Sport. Und logischerweise muss man es eng anziehen damit es auch gut hält, aber ich hatte weder direkt auf der Haut noch auf dem T-Shirt-Ärmel Probleme mit dem Halt... nach dem Abmachen sieht man auf der Haut einen Abdruck, aber der geht ja auch wieder weg...Alles in allem finde ich das Produkt für den Preis wirklich gut und bin bisher sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf!
