This movie is classic teen movie .Suitable for all ages .The movie contains really catchy songs .A mix of other musicals can be seen in the movie . Well worth a watch .Enjoyed it A great story if you want a relaxing movie and fun this is for you.If you love musicals From Grease to Glee to West Side Story. It covers everyones musical taste . Young cast are very good .Story works well with music .

Teen Beach Movie is awesome and Teen Beach Movie 2 is too.

I bought this for a family friend who asked for this for Christmas. Apparently she has seen it a few times on the disney channel but she wanted it on DVD. She loves, happy 10 year old!!

Definitely a teens movie

My 9 yr old daughter and I (40 something) love this film. It would appeal to anyone who likes "Grease". It is movie with catchy tunes and a good storyline. Can help but sing and dance to it. We watch it over and over again.

Teen Beach Movie stars Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell. After riding the last wave of summer together, they are transported into a beach party movie called 'Wet Side Story'. What an awful attempt by Disney to associate the name with such a momentous classic, West Side Story The plot isn't really that good nor is the acting but my kids love the sound track and think Ross Lynch is the next best thing (no relation by the way) If you take it as a light hearted kids movie with an average soundtrack you will enjoy it, don't expect it to rock your world though.

Got this my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. I think she's watched it at least 7 times already now. She saw it on sky and had been hounding me for it for ages. Something that I have watched with her too. Reminds me of a young 'Grease' type of movie.

une histoire sympathique, vraiment originale et facile à comprendre (dès 8 ans sans problème); des musiques très sympas et des acteurs au physique charmant grimés année 60. L'histoire tourne autour du surf, de la danse et de 2 bandes rivales qui se livre à des "bataille de chant et de danse"...Un petit coté "West Side Story" transposé dans un autre univers et sans aucun mauvais sentiments. Ma fille l'a déjà vu au moins 5 fois et adore ce DVD. Nous sommes dans l'univers Disney sans grossièretés ni images violentes. Un DVD qui s'avère être une bonne surprise et que je conseille aux inconditionnels des films Disney.

My grandchildren and I watched this movie tonite on the Disney Channel. We all loved it. It is reminiscent of the Grease Movie with all the wonderful dancing and singing, and 50's clothing. But it is cleaner, and more family oriented. We love Ross Lynch, and think he is a role model. We love seeing him on Austin and Ally and watch every week. I love watching his brothers and sister and him play and sing music, great talents and seem to have a wonderful family life. It is nice to see kids that are real role models and not ones that are made to seem that way by press agents but in reality have real issues. We enjoyed seeing Maia Mitchell in this movie and thought she was charming. She made the movie a lot of fun and did a great job as a actress. She brought a element to the movie that really endeared her to the audience. Hope to see her in other movies. This is just a fun movie, especially for girls, and I think it will be a classic. Long time since I saw a good beach movie, and my remembrances are Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon and all the stars from those times, this movie reminds me a lot of those movies. Just lighthearted fun and light romance. I enjoyed it, recommend it, and think it will be fun, especially for young elementary school girls and preteens. Not often we see clean, family oriented movies that contain a bit of adventure, a smidgen of romance, and lots of great songs and dance moves. We want to watch it again and again, so we are ordering it tonight.
