Tastes bad BUT does what it's intended to!
For children with iron deficiency anemia, the flavor of the iron supplement has to be secondary to getting the condition addressed. We tried this one because the cost of prescription iron liquid was outrageously high, even with insurance. Does it taste good? NO, nor do any of the other liquid iron supplements. We use an oral dosing syringe (easy to accurately dose, holds liquid without dripping, smooth plunger, like EZY DOSE Kids Baby Oral Syringe) and get it towards the back of the cheek.
