pretty, and works well! just make sure to read the instructions and run it first to let the burn smell happen as it heats for the first time or it might scare you hahaha

Retro Toasty Goodness
Ever wanted your toast to feel like itโs straight out of a 1950s diner? The Mueller Retro Toaster in Pink is here to make your breakfast routine feel like a blast from the past, with all the modern conveniences you could ask for. This toaster is like the Elvis Presley of kitchen appliances โ stylish, reliable, and ready to rock your morning. The seven browning levels give you the perfect slice of toast every time, whether youโre craving a barely golden slice or a charred masterpiece. The reheat, defrost, and cancel functions are like having a personal assistant for your breakfast, ensuring your toast is always just right, even on those rushed mornings. The removable crumb tray is a blessing, making cleanup a breeze and preventing those crumb avalanches that make your kitchen look like a scene from a cereal commercial gone wrong. The under-base cord storage is a genius addition, keeping your countertop neat and tangle-free โ because who needs extra cord chaos in their life? However, the toasterโs retro design is so charming that it sometimes feels like youโre living in a vintage postcard, making it a bit too noticeable in a modern kitchen setting. Additionally, the pink color, while adorable, might clash with some kitchen decor, turning your toaster into a conversation starter for all the wrong reasons. Overall, the Mueller Retro Toaster is a fantastic blend of vintage style and modern functionality, making your toast-making experience both stylish and efficient. Itโs perfect for those who want their kitchen appliances to reflect their unique personality and love for retro charm. A solid 4-star rating for its stylish design and versatile functions, with a tiny star lost to its occasionally mismatched decor vibes.

Works but openings a bit small
Very cute, but the size of the openings is quite small, which makes it hard to fit a whole piece of bread in it. Crumbs also accumulate quite a bit on it. I guess you get what you pay for, it works but you can tell it's not great quality.

Worst Toaster
There is no lying, the toaster is aesthetically pleasing and looked great in our white kitchen, but thatโs the extent of it. Besides looking pretty, the toaster is useless. I ignored any negative reviews I read, because I know people can be extremely picky. I thought โhow bad can it be.โ But after a few days both my 11 and 12 year old asked me to replace it. The quality seems similar to my daughterโs Pottery Barn toy toaster. It feels cheap compared to the Cuisinart it replaced. But we stuck with it for 2 months because itโs pretty and I wanted to like it. The width and depth of the slots are pretty bad. Not only did I have to use my weight to flatten our bagels before putting them in, but even regular bread was getting stuck. The slots are so slim and the wiring so close to the bread that it would start to burn quickly. For every use we had gotten in the habit of unplugging it and then getting a fork to pry out the toast or bagel. There are also no numbers on the knob so if someone turned up the heat prior to your use, there was no way of knowing. Itโs in the donation bin now. I feel bad that Iโm passing my junk to someone else, but maybe they wonโt mind all the trouble. I ended up replacing it with a Rae Dunn toaster. I donโt think the Rae Dunn is as pretty as this one, but itโs worked great and gets the job done perfectly. I wouldnโt recommend this toaster. Toasting bread shouldnโt require so much effort.

Beautiful toaster
Absolutely love this toaster. I even leave it out on the counter. Itโs a pop of color in the kitchen! Cooks evenly and fast. Would highly recommend this for any home.

Too Small to be a Toaster
I loved the colour / style of this toaster, but unfortunately it was just way too small. The openings didn't allow for anything other than a pretty thin slice of bread - so bagels, buns, anything like that is out of the question. A toaster that can only toast small pieces of bread is kind of useless as a toaster.

Meh
I love it, my husband does not. It is super cute and definitely as functional as a basic toaster should be. He doesn't like that there is no bagel mode. But I have my doubts that a bagel would fit in between the wires, as this space is crazy narrow.
