Lovely and thick with a soft fleece lining. **Q: Can u wear these out or are they for under clothes?? Some i have bought b4 have seams that u cant wear them out with a tshirt or hoody??** A: There is absolutely no reason not to wear these out as normal wear. I'm a size 10 but ordered the 12-14 because I didn't want them to be too tight for health reasons, I wanted them to be comfortable. They are well made, cosy & stretchy so they are very comfortable. They go bobbly in the wash but they serve a purpose so I'm not too bothered about that. I ordered 2 more pairs & 1 was the same as the first pair I ordered but the other was considerably smaller, they still fit & weren't too small for me but there's no way they'd fit a size 12-14 person & there shouldn't be such a big difference in size between pairs. So I sent it back explaining it was more like a S/M & I wanted another M/L. A couple of days later I got an email saying they had measured them up against another M/L & they were exactly the same so would I like them to send me a L/XL! I was quite annoyed & offended by this & replied that I had also measured them up against the 2 other M/L that I have & they are definitely not the same & are much smaller! I got a very quick reply saying that there is a 10% lee way each way with sizing & the smaller pair must've come from a different batch so they'll send me one from a different batch. It arrived the next day but is still smaller! But I'm not paying another £2.80 to send it back again! It's a fraction bigger than the one I sent back & does fit so I'll just have to make do with it. They tightness of them isn't as comfortable as the other 2 pairs though. They were delivered very quickly every time & were quick to respond to emails. I'm just disappointed at the inconsistent sizing & a 10% lee way is too much in my opinion! The difference between 2 that were supposedly meant to be the same size was about an inch each way & on the one they sent me after I sent one back actually had L/XL on it but it was crossed out in blue pen but no other size was written on it so god knows what size it actually is! Unfortunately, I've had to update my review and remove 2 stars after using these leggings regularly. They've not even been through the wash yet and have already bobbled terribly all over. Even something so gentle as the rubbing of a soft jumper causes the fabric to bobble and bump. So much so that wearing these outside would be an embarrassment.I really did love these leggings, they really are snug and cosy, they certainly do keep the cold out. But that's where the good stuff ends. If you buy these, you'll be able to wear them in their as-new state only 2 times ... 3 max before they start looking shabby and not fit for purpose.For the money, I now do not find them worth it. I'm going to see how they do in a wash ...and if the bobbles can be removed with some non-techy device. If my feelings change, I shall update my review further. For the moment, I'd suggest spend some more and look elsewhere ... unless you're really desperate for a pair of warm leggings for an impending night out.----------------------Original review-I'd been looking around for a pair of warm winter leggings at a reasonable price. And the positive reviews here convinced me to buy a pair here. I'm so glad I did! Placed the order yesterday early afternoon, and here they were with me today morning!!! I immediately wore them out for a grocery trip and they are beautifully snug, warm and look nice too.The inside of the fabric has a fleecy texture while the outside is a smart smooth jet black. They are nicely opaque without being bulky. I'm one who feels quite cold in the mildest of weathers but these leggings are quite comfy for my requirements in this weather.I'm definitely ordering another pair. I do hope they wash well ... if they don't, I'll update this review.
