Great choice
Alot of reviews talk about the taste but the taste is normal for an unsweetened plant protein powder. The subtle cacau taste is earthy and natural and to be honest it's not nearly as grainy as the Soya protein isolates versions I've had before so I'm happy with texture. The fact is this is the only plant brand I can find that seems 100% committed to natural and that doesn't use gums and Emulsifiers etc. so if your main concern is taste you need to go for other brands. The taste is good with banana and fruits, it's then sweet but still natural. I bought this for the purpose of adding to my daily fruit shake so I don't need it to taste amazing alone. It's all about what your purpose is so for me I'm happy and will keep buying.

Worst protein powder I've had unfortunately
I was so hopeful for this protein powder, it seems nutritionally great and I really like their other products. But wow it is the most foul protein I've ever had. Almost completely insoluble and gritty even when blended, and a disgusting flavour not even close to covered by the cacao. You really have to choke it down to drink it, and even mixing it with other shakes you can still tell it is there and makes the whole drink unpleasant. Such a shame as I like the company

Great Product
Great Product. I have tried a lot of different vegan/vegetarian protein powders, most of which have either been sweetened heavily or bland and very chalky leaving my stomach feeling overly full (Not bloated). The BodyMe protein (Cocoa) it extremely palatable even with a 5-6 scoops in a 500ml shaker; although I have only mixed it with milk (I am vegetarian), so can not comment on mixing with water. The cocoa taste is very subtle and I imagine may be to much for some people to get used to, I love raw products so I actually quite enjoy the flavour. So in summary the taste and texture certainly isn't offensive, in my opinion its pleasant and should be able to be mixed with smoothies etc easily, I cant say anything on its effects/efficiency as Ive only used 1kg.

Great ingredients, but no cacao taste!
This was my first time trying a mix of hemp/sprouted rice/pea proteins. I’ve had plain pea protein mixed with just water before so I’m accustomed to the powdery taste of nothing that comes with it. Also I’m quite used to ‘healthy’ tasting powders so the taste of this protein shake doesn’t bother me. It's really easy to mix with water, even with just a fork it doesn't clump. I don't use a protein shaker. However, if you’re after a ‘tasty’ shake to have plain as it is, be warned this does not really have a cacao taste at all. I have been having this plain mixed with water as I’m not really looking for taste. I have also been mixing it with 1tsp molasses (for a vitamin boost & added taste) or blending up with banana, water & extra cacao for a more palatable smoothie. The texture ofcourse does not get as smooth as say whey protein, it still has a subtle powdery feel which may bother some people. Overall I’m satisfied with the product & will be ordering again due to the organic status, organic certification & all the plant based goodness!

Taste like my compost heap
The foulest tasting protein I have ever consumed. I truly hope that it is going to do some good for me as the next month of breakfasts are going to be a very unexciting event and no longer part of the day I look forward to. Advertising suggest coconut and chocolate, reality is most unpleasant. Sorry but thats just the way it is.

This stuff is Golden!
After reading all the reviews on here before purchasing, I knew that I would most probably like it. Even though some people said it “tastes like dirt” it is a very simple and healthy recipe. There are no nasty additives and it tastes great when you add and banana and get a little more adventurous with blueberries ! Organic Oat milk also helps to sweeten it, or just add organic oats and filtered water, which will do the same thing. I love how it tastes so earthy and healthy, it helps me to feel full for at least 3/4 hours. I was looking for a boost of protein in my vegan diet and this seems to do the trick! Overall I love it and will be purchasing it again! (Also the packaging is cheerful and brown paper!)

Organic/Healty/Vegan
So, I was bored to buy non-organic protein blends. After years of bad nutrition like: Scit ***, Mypr *** and brands like them which are quite good for the taste but unsure where the elements are from. I decided to move up and change direction to a healty protein shake. In fact after many years of “commercial” and bad nutrition I was scared to keep a cancer or ruin my body. At every single take of “commercial” protein shake I felt sad and my breath was so bad like coma breath, no placebo I swear god. So I decided to buy a organic/vegan protein shake. If you wonder why vegan, plant proteins contains 0 toxins. Basically now I feel so clean inside and outside. My sweat doesn’t smell anymore and my breath is clean. My life is changed. About the taste, I’ll be onest is like dirt, is like you shake some dirt and drink it. The taste isn’t quite bad like the actual dirt, is strange not bad. Btw after swallowing the “dirt” taste will vanish in one second and won’t come back. What will come back is a clean breath so safe and healty, just the same breath you have when you start to heat organic and vegan. I will buy again and again 1 kg per month.

Average in some ways, but I may be doing it a disservice
I suspect this product is possibly very good from a nutritional point of view - is that what makes it quite expensive? With quality in mind I _would_ buy it again, after all that's the most important factor to me. However there are a couple of things that I'm not so keen on. The bag isn't as straightforward as a normal plastic tub; it's fiddlier to open and re-seal (it _may_ be better for the environment but since the paper has a foil lining I'm not sure). Taste is average and the solution is quite grainy. It doesn't mix into solution as well as some powders; it needs a _really_ good shake. Despite the negative comments, just from a nutritional quality point of view give it a go and see what you think.
