Birkenstock Classic Gizeh Eva, Unisex-Adult Thong Sandals

I have never quite fitted or liked the leather Birkenstocks, but when I tried these, they were a dream - like walking on a marshmallow- so light, yet also very good on stones and rough ground. The seem very robust. And you can wash them when they get grubby and they look like new- so no worries about buying a white pair. Plus they are exceptional value. I have barely taken them off since I got them a week ago. Cant be more enthusiastic! Am wondering if I should get another colour - but you can only wear one pair at a time and white goes with anything.

I love these shoes. They feel perfect on my foot, good to walk in and I think they're really stylish. They look well with white jeans and ate light in weight for backpacking. I tried a well known brand that do similar styles of 'exercise' shoe and had to get rid of them as within a week I had really bad knee pain and a pulled muscle in my back. Two separate friends recommended Birkenstock and I am so glad they did. I normally take an 8 but the biggest available were 7.5 which feel perfect but my toe touches the inside rim but doesn't press. Not sure which size I need for my next pair.

They are great and I wore them all day with no problems. Then unfortunately I developed a blister under the crossover strap so I am now unable to wear them as being diabetic my feet take a long time to heal. Just wonder if leather ones would be better for me xx

Since these slippers are contoured, the fit needs to be exact, so I had to buy a size smaller than my usual trainer size (bought size 7, I'm usually 8/8.5 UK, or in EU numbers, bought 40 vs my regular 42.5). If the sandal is too small your toes will go over the contoured edge, if the sandal is too big the support will be in all the wrong places. Use Birkenstock's sizing guide for the correct fit. I swear by these to all my friends, but I always give them the same warning: If this is your first pair they will feel weird for the first few days, this is because of the arch support, but they are fantastic once you get use to it.

Great birkies, significantly more lightweight than the cork ones. Possibly not as supportive as the cork ones but still good enough. My only negative with these is when it’s hot, feet feel really sweaty which I have not experienced with any other shoes or sandals. I’m usually a size 5.5-6, a size 5 is perfect for me in these

Bought these as my other leather n cork sole ones had seen better days as the cork was cracking and not been disappointed. Bought black and white pairs and they were perfect for day n night as well as by the pool. Very impressed

Lovely fit, really light and comfortable, i thought the inner sole would be a cork effect as with the ordinary sandals but they are all one material hence the light weight. I had some lovely comments from friends when we went out for a meal asking me were I got them from.So I was really impressed

I selected UK 5.5 in the drop down list but when they came they were actually a UK 6. I don't have time to return them before I leave for my holiday tomorrow which is really inconvenient so watch out for the sizing. The actual sandal is really nice and I would be very happy with it in the correct size.

I wear a size 7 so that's what I ordered. They fit fine, just a hair too long but when I walk on them I wouldn't probably want them any smaller. They are very, very comfortable!

Normally I take a size 9 in US. The shoe fit length-wise perfectly although I believe you are suppose to have a little extra as your foot will slide forward when you walk, and these did not provide that. Also, although I do have a wide toe box and narrow heel, the toe box was a little narrow for me(which surprised me for a Birkenstock) so I am returning them and ordered a size up. The new size has not arrived yet.

Sandalo Birkenstock in cuoio grasso, niente da dire, senonché la pelle è molto dura, il cinturino troppo corto, insomma, pur essendo di pianta larga, più piccolo del solito n.ro 38 che sempre ho acquistato per le centinaia di Birkenstock da me acquistate nel tempo..peccato..adesso le porto per casa, nella speranza che si ammorbidiscano con l'uso.
