Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have bought these lights for recording videos and it’s perfect, they give a white and strong light, I use them to recording videos speaking, by leaving they 1 meter away the create a strong light on my face so the camera get exposition on my face and the background keeps black which helps to focus the attention on me, and if I want more balance light between me and the background I just point one of they to the ceiling reflecting the light through the room. I was comparing this light with the ring light and I decided finally for this because for the purpose I use, video face, the ring light creates a ring reflection on the eyes which is a bit like an alien, these lights create an square reflection.The tripods are solid, you can move the box up and down and turn it around, and the tripods lift like up to 2 meters, more than I expected.The pack also includes a bag for carrying them outside, the cable of the lights are like 2 meters.In 2012 I have bought a pair of softbox which were exactly the same as these and I paid 150£, so it’s amazing that now they sell for 50£, well not the same all, I remember the tripods were bigger on extension, so more stable, but still for 50 this is quite a good price.Also they have a high standard customer service, there was a metal part in the bulb that made the bulb not staying straight and they sent me new oneMy summary, I am very happy with this buy

Bought this soft box set to help me get a few decently lit photo's of the family at home. As a beginner photographer I didn't want to spend hundreds on something that quite frankly would be overkill on my little make shift studio (the corner of our kitchen!)I have to say I am really impressed. Everything came really well packaged and really only took 10 minutes total to assemble for the first time. The stands are only lightweight but to be honest this isn't really a bad thing as it makes them easily transportable. You can set the soft box lights themselves into an infinite amount of positions due to the swivel brackets provided and they unfold and pop open almost like an umbrella. The stands can obviously be adjusted and go to a decent height which covers all eventualities. Each light is switched independently and with the lead only being short an extension lead was needed.Considering the wattage of the lamps being used the light thrown out is very impressive. I used mine while there was no real natural light present and they did a great job of illuminating my subject (a small child asking 'are we done yet!")The carry case is a nice touch and is plenty big enough to store everything in including the bulbs stored back in their protective boxes.All in all a great set and excellent value for money, really pleased.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Comes with a nice bag for ease of transport, quality-wise they feel like there going to last a long time, plenty of options for adjustment.These are great for video or photos they make such a big difference to lighting up my filming or taking photos.It makes my videos so much more professional.The stands are just basic stand but they do the job and are very light for easy transport.Pricing, it amazes me how cheap you can buy these nowadays a few years ago you could not buy these for less then £100.I am very pleased with the whole package for the price I paid they get my thumbs up

Very happy with the product, much better quality than it appears for the price. It comes with a bag to store everything to measure and protect it from dust, super useful to transport it to any place and then store it at home, and only by the case is more than justified the price, the bulbs have power to spare for any photo project or even video, you can see live tests on my YouTube channel "yosoyhardware". The light windows come with two separate fabrics to soften the light, which are made easy by Velcro, can be turned off or on by a basic switch, there is no way to regulate it in this kit. the tripods of subjection fulfill their function perfectly and have ample height, for me they seem a little heavy, they could see some more lijeros and thus lower the product, but of course they would not be so stable. In short, very good product and very few hits, maybe it would have been nice if the light could be adjusted, but we already get into more professional and expensive equipment. If you want something to get started in the world of professional photography or video, with this kit you will have more than enough for good lighting.
