I wanted these for my shop, they were easy to put up and they light up very well, would recommend them and good price. I did by two but returned one as need different fitting for another door as wouldn't fit above the door frame.

Good unit overall, works as intended but crappy push fit connectors with very fine wire connecting to the p.c.b. Would be better with a connector directly soldered to the p.c.b.! Very awkward using T&E solid core mains cable. Recommend standard connectors to T&E tails then flex to the push fit connectors to relieve stress.

Easy to fit. Work well. LED lights are a great improvement over the old fluorescent tube. Cannot say what battery duration is, as not given 3 hour test but should be ok. As to lifetime in service, the design looks better than previous generation that all suffered battery failure after about 2 years, so hopefully and so far, very good.

getting the existing (large) cables into the cavity is tricky. I had to fit a junction box in one case to contain the wires and then an extension wire to the light. The Hall where the lights are fitted is over 100years old so there are always issues with improvements.
