I used a barber for my haircuts forever... well, 45 years which feels like forever anyway!My wife has said on several occasions that she could do my hair, and I was kind of "No chance, I'll stick to the barber!" Fearing the worst, obviously.:-)A week ago, I went to get my hair cut, a month after I really needed a trim, and found the barber was closed. Upon my return home I started to think "I 'm struggling to find time to get my hair cut these days, busy life and all that. And I don't just want anyone to cut my hair as it's a personal thing.So I mentioned to my wife that she could do it, if she still wanted to.My wife then jumped at the opportunity and said "We need a quality set of clippers, Wahl is the best brand".So she chose this Elite Pro Hair Clipper Kit... duly purchased from Amazon.I was surprised at how weighty the clipper actually is, expecting it to feel light and plasticky. Instead it has a real quality feel to it that gives the impression it will last for years. The accessories impressed me also, a full range of combs for the various lengths of hair as well as scissors, a normal comb and a gown. All for £45!Bargain!Anyway, I'm waffling now. Suffice to say that I have had my first haircut with this kit tonight, and I'm really chuffed with the results.I told work colleagues that my better half was going to cut my hair for me, and joked that I hoped I didn't get the full "Walter White" And that if I came in to work on Monday wearing a Heisenberg hat, they'd know it didn't go so well! :-DAs it happens, I look pretty much the same as when I've paid a tenner for my haircut, so it isn't going to take very long before the Wahl Elite Pro kit has paid for itself.An excellent investment to save you money, so look no further and buy one!

Nice clippers. The on-and-off switch feels a bit uncomfortable, but it does the job—nice set and variety of guards. Important thing to note: If the current doesn't match the product specified current, the clipper acts up weird. In that case, there's a little screw on the side that increases or decreases the current flow. We need to adjust accordingly. For a second, I thought the clipper was damaged or broken. But overall, a good product.

Great value kit, bit of a clunky design but very durable and comfortable to use. It's wired so no need to worry about battery life but the cable can get in the way and could be longer.

Okay.....so first off.... forget anything you are reading about weight or its heavy or anything like that .... it aint!! If you intend holding it out at arms lenght like some sorta torture then maybe after an hour you're gonna feel the effects. For the lenght of time it takes to cut hair...not in the slightest.When turned on,it's quiet and definitely smooth as it cuts, which it does really well.Realistically,you're never gonna use all the attachments for hair lenght. Like me,you'll probably choose 2 maybe 3 that you'll use over the course of its lifetime (unless some magical hair growth formula is found turning you into a Greek God with flowing luscious locks..... but probably not).Instructions are limited (massively) but then what really do you need. Out of the box,turn it on add 5 drops of the supplied oil (3 along blade and one either side of blade).... leave on for 10 seconds...turn off and wipe dry. As far as I can make out it only needs this oiling procedure once a month (maybe someone can correct me on this). I had a clipper previously for 20 years that was never oiled and ran perfectly so go figure.Check the supplied attachments for damage to the tines (forklike ends). There have been reports of the occasional broken one but not on mine.All in all,I would recommend this product. I've only used once but so far so good.

Excellent clippers. I have shaved my head since my teenage years and now 34. I do it “gaurdless” to keep nice and short. I had previously been using some old Wahl Envoy cordless clippers which are professional ones (which I got at low price from Sally’s as my wife is a beauty therapist). The Envoy started to make an awful noise after nearly 10 years of use (and i could not use them without the cord as the battery was poor and the power was only satisfactory with the cord plugged in). The Envoy one is more comfortable and lighter to use, but not as good as the new Elite Pro set...Pros-Very clean cut due to the excellent blades and seriously powerful motor.Loads of attachments which are very well made with harder plastic than usual so they don’t bend when in use (the metal clip also means they sit perfectly straight).The adjustable blades (when not using a guard) allows for close cuts in sensitive areas without catching the skin, but if you prefer the No. 1/2 guard is very close (e.g. for those that like to keep their privates trimmed).Very good hard case comes with it keeps everything neatly protected and looks nice on your shelves.Good length to the power cord making it easy to use in different rooms without the need for an extension (I use my kitchen as the floors are tiled).Great price for clippers of this quality and the amazing selection of high quality accessories.Cons- (hardly any in my opinion).Some people may find it too heavy. I enjoy weight lifting and I’m well built but my muscles were a little sore after use but this is not an issue to me as the Pros above out weight this. For me the weight gives confidence in the quality and power of the motor.It comes with the standard tiny oil bottle, however I already have a larger bottle which you can get on Amazon for a small amount of money which lasts years.In summary this is the best set of clippers I have owned and expect them to last at least 10 years with use every 2-3 weeks as my previous Wahl clippers have done, maybe longer. So I would recommend these to anyone, unless you feel weight is an issue (e.g. someone with shoulder pain in your dominant arm).

Ich habe mit dem Haarschneider mittlerweile meinem Mann und dem Sohn jeweils schon 4 x die Haare rasiert und bin immer noch total begeistert! Die große Auswahl an Aufsätzen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Was mir auch gefällt ist das üppige Zubehör wie Umhang, wertige Schere, Kamm usw. Man hat alles was man braucht, und das Ganze in einem tollen kleinen Koffer. Man kann es wunderbar darin versorgen und muss nicht alles reinquetschen, es ist genügend Platz. Da ich meisstens gleich mehrere Köpfe hintereinander rasiere war mir wichtig, dass der Rasierer das packt und nicht erst mal eine längere Auszeit zum abkühlen braucht. Auch das meistert er mit Bravour. Ohne Aufsatz schneidet er sauber und korrekt. Der Wechsel der Aufsätze geht schnell und problemlos, und vorallem die Qualität der Aufsätze gefällt mir sehr gut! Sie sind sehr stabil und rasten gleich merklich ein. Er ist zwar nicht gerade leicht, aber dafür merkt man einfach die gute Qualität und Verarbeitung. Ich habe diesen Rasierer bei einer Last-Minute- Aktion gekauft und daher zu einem tollen Schnäppchenpreis ergattert, aber ich würde ihn auch wieder zu einem höheren Preis kaufen da er mich rundum überzeugt.

Je suis assez exigeant sur la qualité, et avec cette tondeuse, vous allez faire des merveilles.J'ai utilisé des tondeuses électriques depuis plus de 15ans.La coupe est juste parfait, le bruit est certainement ce qui m'inquiéter un peu, mais pour venir sur des électriques, cette dernière est juste incomparable.La fibration est proportionnelle à son efficacité, on est sur un décibel très très faible.La matière me semble bien équilibré.Les ustensiles sont de très bonne qualité, il manquerait un accessoire ou deux, mais c'est du détail.La garantie du moteur et les retours amazon m'on fait pousser le pas, et je ne le regrette pas.Notabéné: Pour une longue durée, pensez à faire une pause toutes les 10 - 15minutes (l'éteindre), en attendant, vous pouvez préparer le terrain, passer sous l'eau la tête de votre client, remettre en place les cheveux, faire un passage au ciseau etc., cela évite une surchauffe inutile, mais surtout cela augmentera sa durée de vie globale de votre tondeuse.Important: Nettoyer bien, mettre de l'huile à la fin, au rangement, pensez à bien régler vos "dents"; Un outil bien entretenu sera toujours plus performant qu'un outil délaissé.Je recommande cette tondeuse sans hésitation.V.

I knew Wahl to be a trusted name, but these clippers are faulty. It will tug on hair rather than cut through it completely. You can see the blades don't move enough when the guards are on, the blades just are not snipping all the hair that passes through. Also when set to the shortest setting, it does not cut through hair completely - the blades don't move enough. We won't be using these again, they are not fit to purpose.Addendum: i unscrewed the blades to look what was going on. The issue with the clippers i received was that a foam piece meant to keep hair out of the works is too flimsy. Seems that replacement foam pieces are available online. This is still the fault of the manufacturing, but might be fixable. Will update after i try to fix it.
