I bought these for quality, size, durability, and ease of use. I regularly differentiate between four separate bicycle locks of different sizes and strengths. I use one for a rented storage locker key, too. I added my own distinct colored tags for quick identification. These are better than earlier versions, thanks to the extra slip notch, which improves key retention. Now, I only carry the keys I need, not a full pocket. Value for money comes when a secured item stays safe. That way, you won't need to spend bigger dollars replacing what you'd wanted locked up. I hope my idea benefits you.

I had another detachable key holder that required a push to release. It was both a little bothersome to detach and over time it became less secure and came apart in-use. The KeySmart MagConnect key holder is very secure and I have no worries of it wearing out as the dovetail has no moving parts to wear out. The magnetic hold keep the dovetail from sliding loose, but is easy to release. The holder itself is minimal in size so it does not add bulk to the keys and sturdy design holds up to hard use. A big upgrade for my key holder which I am very happy with and looking forward to years of use.

I bought these to store several sets of motorcycle keys in a jacket, and it works fine for its intended purpose, but it’s hard to disconnect and reconnect with one hand. Plastic molding on product leaves seams that are very visible which doesn’t seem incredibly high quality. The magnets are not very strong, but the plastic dovetail does a good job of keeping keys attached. I have no concerns that keys would randomly disconnect with this system, but the design of the small key rings on each side of the keychain allows the plastic pieces to swivel back and forth in a way that makes the system unwieldy to use at times if you’re otherwise occupied with another task. The black color is nice, and is very compact. If you are looking for a quick disconnect for keys that is compact and doesn’t need to be hooked up and disconnected on a frequent basis, I’m sure this would serve you well. However if you are looking for something that can be used with a single hand, I would look elsewhere. For $24 for 3 keychain holders, it’s hard to be mad with my purchase, but I was hoping that it would work better for single handed operation. Decent value for money, 4/5 stars for being a cromulent detachable key holder, but not being excellent for single handed operation

I have been purchasing these for a while now and they never disappoint. I bought these for my mom as she has too many keys on her regular key chain and is constantly misplacing her fob or leaving it in the vehicle. She has to wear a lanyard for work and she was wearing two lanyards to hold all the keys and her badge and everything in between to access her classroom, vehicle, building and whatnot. Now she has one magnet on her regular keychain and one on the work lanyard. She can leave her bulky keys in the vehicle and simply attach the fob to her badge lanyard without the extra weight on her neck. She loves them! They keep things simple and easy. Theses function for all sorts of different reasons. Have more than one car fob or need one for the valet this is an easy and convenient way to keep fobs and keys together or apart.

This was a bad purchase on my part. The quality of the MagConnect is fine it just doesn't suit my needs. I prefer a one handed separation and I struggle to put it back together without it being in good light. But they're small but very good milling and good magnet.

The magnet is very strong and holds. It is easy to attach and detach. The metal rings are strong and can hold some weight. It is easy to take around (it might attach to other metal items in your bag or pocket due to the strong magnet). It looks very slick and streamlined.

A little pricy BUT these actually work effectively in the real world. The one caveat, the magnet being strong can give a false positive lockup. Be sure to deliberately slide the dovetail together and the devices will stay attached reliably. After trying a few low cost alternative ball lock style, this dovetail system will not self destruct nor drop your device unexpectedly. Another plus, the rings are proper spring stainless and not just a wire wrap that will fail under stress. The sizing is proper for small attachments yet strong enough for anything in the keyring size range for reliability.

I've had a couple of the plastic versions. They are pretty good, but the aren't quite durable enough my clumsy self, so the interlocking parts can weaken and snap off over time. Metal is strong, so titanium should have been perfect for me, except for two problems: 1. They cannot be separated easily at ALL. I'm definitely not the strongest dude, but it took all the strength in both of my hands to get it off. Again, I have the plastic ones, so I know how to separate the halves. After doing so, it seems like the magnet isn't that much stronger than plastic ones. That's perfectly fine, as the whole point is for the interlocking parts to make up for that. I believe the real issue is poor machining, to the point where kinda looks like one end is dented/tapered, which holds too tightly and prevents me from sliding them apart in both directions. This leads into the second problem. 2. It is sharp. I separate this from the other poor machining because the dent/tapering could have happened even if the sharp parts were smoothed and rounded down. Yes, I did cut my finger trying to slide the dang thing apart (Amazon won't post my review because of vague "community guidelines", so I removed the picture of the wound and the bloody tissue). Yes, that is why I am giving the lowest score. It's a real shame; it would have been exactly what I needed otherwise, and I would have come here to give it praise.

Seit vielen Jahren habe ich daran einen kleinen Karabiner hängern, bisher hält er durch aber irgendwann wird das Teil brechen. Nach sicher 2 Stunden schauen auf Amazon wurde es dieses Ding, ich habe nur diesen bestellt und bin bisher zufrieden. Pro: - Recht platzsparend und dezent in der Optik (andere Lösungen sind teilweise größer) - Magnet bei mir ausreichend stark, die Verbindung hat sich bisher noch nie versehentlich gelöst (ich werfe den Schlüsselbund aber auch nicht durch die Gegend) --- Mein Autoschlüssel ist "keyless", also muss nicht im Schloss gedreht werden, aber auch beim Speren der Wohnungstür ist der Autoschlüssel noch nie abgeflogen - Die Verbindung erfolgt (zumindest in der wichtigsten Zugrichtung) formschlüssig, nicht magnetisch, der Magnet verhindert "nur" das seitliche Rausrutschen der Kupplung Neutral: - Ja, das Gehäuse ist aus Kunststoff, ist aber auch kein Schmuckstück Con: - Es ist schwierig / nicht möglich (zumindest mit meiner Feinmotorik), die Verbindung mit nur einer Hand herzustellen (trennen geht leichter), vor allem da die Magnete gern an den Schlüsselringen hängen, ob das ein gerechtfertigtes Minus ist muss jeder selbst entscheiden Ich habe keine anderen Produkte / Systeme von KeySmart, kann dazu also nix sagen. Bon petit clip j'apprécie la queue d'aronde pour éviter l'arrachement et le verrou par aimant est bien pensé. Le look est sympathique.
