Or do the brake pads have to be taken out to apply this product?** A: You’re supposed to take them out but I just sprayed them right onto the brake pads while they were on my car and the squeaking stopped so... **Q: Can I use this product on all metal contacts along with the back of the brake pad? It states to use another product for metal on metal contact.** A: No. Use brake grease for all other metal surfaces. **Q: On the back of the brake pad there is a metal sheet/bracket whatever it's called, is it going to apply it on that metal? Not quite sure how to do.** A: Apply the Disc Brake Quiet onto the metal sheet if it firmly attached to the pad but only where it contacts the piston or the caliper. **Q: What if I did not wait the 10 minutes to let the substance dry before reinstalling?** A: I didn't wait 10 minutes. I just put the stuff on and assembled. Not a single and I mean NOT A SINGLE squeak since I did it and that was many months ago. Buy it. You won't regret it.
