Q: Is it noisy? and also does it keep the water clean, i know it claims to but id like to know from people who have bought it?

It only makes a noice when you initially switch it on, once the top bowl is full there is no more noise not even a trickle....even on the highest setting! I have two dogs and it does get dirty quite quickly, I probably need to clean it every few days....my dogs like to dig with their noses and then when they have a drink, it ends up in the water, i have found if you give it a quick rinse out every 2-3 days and wash the filter through with cold water, you can get a filter to last just over a week....i don't buy the brand filters, you can get ones that are compatible for around 15 pounds for 8 filters, also from Amazon. Hope this helps you make a decision....it's still a bit of a faff if i'm honest 😕

These will not get through the filtration but will still accumulate in the bowl area, so will contaminate the water over time. You will probably need to change the water a couple times a week and change the filter every two weeks. Also any saliva contaminates the water and you get a foam forming on the water surface.
