How do these miniatures scale with the other d&d board games, such as legend of drizzt? in pictures i've seen, i've got cause for concern.

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed with this addition to the series. No, the minis don't seem to be nearly as good as "Legend of Drizzt" or "Castle Ravenloft" (my personal favorite). I was disappointed with the entire package, really. It's not bad, and I'm sure it will be fun to play, but it doesn't come up to the standards that this series of games had previously set.

How you combine the other games ? I don’t see how they are compatible? Anyone has done it before?

Rules wise they are all much the same so you can make your own adventures by combining the monsters cards or choosing heroes from the different games. All the tiles fit together as well though they are thematically different so you have to decide if you want to have them mixed up or in layers so that you get distinct areas of dungeon.
