Really happy with my new duvet. Bought to replace a dense, heavier one. Lightweight and fluffy feel. Warm on the -3 night temps we've been having over the last few nights in May and rather wonderfully I've found since using it my hot water bottle stays warm all night underneath it. That's been a nice surprise when returning from early hour bathroom visits in the cold. Didn't happen with my old duvet which was also 13.5 tog.Some detail for those of us who have fragrance sensitivities. There was a light smell, maybe scent on opening that I wasn't sure of. Aired mostly within a couple of hours outside and then washed out at first 60 temp wash. Zero scent or smell left on it. Really happy as someone with MCS with this purchase as I was able to use within 24 hours with no issue. Highly recommend.

Love this duvet. So light and comfortable yet still warm enough for a slightly chilly spring/summer night.When it first arrived I thought it would be too lightweight but it’s perfect and cosy.Recommended for allergy sufferers and anyone else, too.

Nice and lightweight keeps me cool in summer

I'm super fussy when it comes to bedding. I bought this 7.5 Tog duvet to replace a brand new 13.5 Tog duvet that I thought was going to cook me while I slept (I'm a lady of a certain age, have numerous hot flushes during the night and get hot then cold really quickly). This duvet was the perfect choice. Once in a nice, 100% cotton duvet cover it is the perfect weight and has a nice smooth feel to it. I'm really pleased that I chose this Slumberdown option over so many similar others. It meets my requirements for a comfy night's sleep perfectly!

I prefer lighter tog duvets all year round as I find greater than 8 tog duvets to be really too heavy and too warm to sleep under. The advantage of lower tog duvets is that if you need a bit more warmth, you can always add on a fleece or another blanket on top to improve the overall insulation properties.I was in need of a new duvet because my old one was a couple of years old and it was beginning to get patchy in areas. I had washed it a couple of times, in a 30° wash.I chose the slumberdown duvet because it’s a good make and it’s also made in the UK, so I’m supporting British manufacturing. I was only planning to buy the duvet but because this offer had a couple of decent pillows I chose the bundle instead. This only added about £10 to the price of the duvet and with two decent pillows it seemed a good deal.The duvet I would say is correctly rated at 4.5 tog you can see light through it but it’s nicely layered and even. There are no gaps in it. The outer cover is also got very nice soft touch to it. The duvet is 100% polyester.The pillows are very good. They are medium firmness rated and I would say that is a good assessment. I’ve had a couple of decent sleeps with these pillows and they’re not too firm. My previous pillows were soft and these are a little bit more firm.Overall, I’d recommend this bundle deal: the 4.5tog duvet and two pillows

Comprato per un letto matrimoniale al fine di avere un ricambio del piumone: è stato un ottimo acquisto, sia in termini di qualità che di prezzo.Piumino caldissimo, con solo il lenzuolo ci avvolge in un bozzolo caldo dal quale è difficilissimo uscire la mattina. Non vi nascondo che con il pigiama lungo qualche volta sento anche caldo, al punto che devo scoprirmi leggermente, e il tutto senza avere riscaldamento acceso.La scelta giusta per l'inverno, meglio ancora se abbinata ad una federa copripiumino, facilmente reperibile anche qui su Amazon delle dimensioni esatte (220 X 230).Ottimo acquisto che consiglierei e rifarei.Se vi è piaciuta la recensione, fatemelo sapere con un bel 👍
