Perfect for our needs
My wife is disabled. I mounted this grab bar on the wall adjacent to the stairs in the garage. It works perfectly for her - good gripping surface, easy to install. I mounted one of the screws on a stud and the others I used screw-in anchors with the related screws. Very sturdy.

Well made
Good product, the grip is just right. The Moen drywall anchors (sold separately) worked perfectly with this and are very strong. I installed about a dozen of these in the last few years in various homes of relatives and they have worked great. Buy the separate anchors if you don't have a convenient stud, they work great in showers

Nice Heavy, Sturdy Bar
Added this bar and its 12" companion to the guest bathroom tub/shower when we needed to use that facility for a couple of weeks. While I did not install it myself, the contractor (doing other work in the house) who did it used my impact driver to do so. He used his tile bit but they are readily available at the "big box" stores. So, could have done it myself but got lazy. Pretty straightforward installation. Find the studs (hardest part), pilot the holes through cultured marble and sheet rock, and drive the screws (nice and long and heavy duty) in. I will say when I was trying to decide what what length to get for 16" OC studs, I said a few things under my breath about there not being (that I found in this styles) a 16" bar for level installation. However, installed at an angle (low end at the back of the tub and high end at the faucet/shower head end) spanning 2 studs. It has worked out very well for a couple of oldies to feel more secure (the "peened" rough surface helps with that) getting in & out & standing there showering.

Perfect!
My 90+ year-old mother-in-law was walking up the step from the garage into the house when she began falling backwards. Fortunately my wife was right behind her and gave her a shove. Might have saved her life. So I purchased this grab rail and installed it to the right of the doorway. It is perfect! I use it myself. It must be difficult to be a seller on Amazon - Some people have trashed this grab rail because it did not come with drywall inserts. Really?! You MUST screw the grab rail into studs! Otherwise you run the risk of it tearing out when someone is pulling on it. You can always install a wood plate to span studs and then screw the grab rail into the plate. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Excellent grab bar, poor stainless screw heads
While the peened grab bar itself is a winner, the heads on the screws included with the bar leave something to be desired. The head is an in between size Phillips and hard to use. Use the size to buy some regular screws preferably with flat blade/Phillips combo and use those to make your holes first. Make sure those screws have a standard Phillips head that fits well. It can save hours of attempting to screw in the stainless screws that come with the bar. Or splurge and get your own stainless screws while making sure they have a standard head size. Better yet, get a Phillips insert for your reversable drill and use that. It can work wonders. I live in Mexico so did not need to worry about stud widths. The bar is installed horizontal since screwed into tile & bricks with plastic inserts for safety and security. I love having the secure feeling of the grab bar just off to the side to hold on to even when washing my feet & legs. I wound up putting a plastic lawn chair in the shower for when I do my feet & legs. Works well is put in a corner so it cannot slip.

Most durability for the money
I was a maintenance director for a large hotel chain for over 20 years. I used these exact bars in every single one of my hotels. For the price and durability they cannot be beat. Now that I'm older and in need of assistance in my home, these are what I am installing. Helpful hint for anyone installing them. You must anchor these in something solid. It is worth it to buy longer stainless steel anchors or screws and do not just anchor them in sheetrock. You will regret it. The anchors provided with the bars you might as well throw away. They are useless.

Streamlined and very functional
This grab bar stands proud of wall surface 2-3/4" which is more streamlined than some, but allows ample space for easily grasping the bar. Very pleased with the size and finish. Item arrived on time. Easy to install.

Easy to install & very sturdy with the knurled finish.
The areas where you need to install the 3 wood screws, had sufficient holes to fit on the 1 1/2 inch wood stud.

Stainless Steel Grab Bar
Good quality stainless steel grab bar. Can’t find anything close to this quality on other platforms or the retail shops in SG.

Funcional
Fuerte y con Buen acabado , lo único es que llegó sin una tapita donde se pliega , pero nada que afecte su función

Attractive, sturdy, easy to grip.
This was installed because of a relative staying with us after knee replacement surgery. Works perfectly. Not easy to install, as we have porcelain tile that's very difficult to drill through.
