It's minty menthol smell is very pleasant and has an added bonus of helping clear your sinuses too. The green gel has a tendency to not behave quite as you'd expect, so if Ike me you have it for back pain, it can fall off your finger as you twist round to apply it. If that happens, be careful as it may stain some fabrics. My reason for not giving 5 stars. From a pain relief perspective it's great, fast working and definitely relieving for an hour or so. And is non greasy If I wake up at night in pain, I no longer reach for pain meds, but pop on some biofreeze & it helps me get back to sleep. I would definitely recommend this product. It lasts a long time, just onto my second tube.
