The gel arrived quickly and well packaged, with very clear to use instructions. The tube comes with both a lid for when not in use and a pipette type fixture. I have found that the gel does not come out quick enough and with a wriggling puppy, it can be a little difficult to get the gel to make contact with the gums quick enough, and therefore I have had to put it onto my finger and then rub into the gums. My puppy seems to quite like the taste and is usually happy to have the gel rubbed in. He's shown less signs of discomfort so I would say that the gel is working well.
