Clingo Universal Car Phone Mount - Green 07000

Suggested by a friend and it works wonders! Have had my phone drop a few times from it.. you just need to keep it clean. Amazingly quick and easy to use.

I had the green, cheaper version of this bought from a garage, which worked great. I liked the lookof the black one so bought it and gave the old one to my wife. Absolute rubbish, stuck to windscreen fine, but iPhone 6 kept falling off after a couple of minutes. After a few attempts trying different things sent it back, now I have no mount, not happy

Day 1 - OK - i was very skeptical about this due to the mixed reviews. The sticky pad is a little smaller than i first thought it would be (in a good way). It's not loads of mini suction cups as i was told by friends but is a solid, sticky pad. It is very sticky to the touch (but doesn't leave any residue on the phone at all) and when I attached my phone to it and gave a little squeeze to make sure it was secure, it took a very thorough shake (much more then you'd get on your average car journey) to shake it loose.Also worth noting that I have a dbrand vinyl skin on my phone and the sticky pad DID NOT damage or pull it off at all.Update - I've topped using it now as my phone keeps falling off it. i think this may be due in part to the vinyl skin i have which means the back of the phone is no perfect flat (my wifes Samsung Galaxy with a flat glass back attaches very securely). Although the icky pad is noticeably less sticky to the touch and it only been a week.

When I played with this out of the box (before I put it in my car) I was impressed at how effectively my phone stuck to it.As soon as I actually used it, I completely changed my mind. After my phone fell off three times within 15 minutes almost causing me to crash my car trying to avoid damaging my £600 phone I felt like throttling whichever idiot designed this. It stuck to the windscreen perfectly but that's not much use while my phone is in the footwell.My wife gave me one of her hair bobbles to wrap around the phone and the holder to stop it falling off. This totally worked but had the substantial drawback of obscuring part of the screen. This is something that seems like a good idea but in practice, was completely useless.

Having read the previous (not exactly great) reviews i was dubious as to whether this would work sufficiently. To set the scene, i have a Sony Xperia Z android handest, which isnt exactly small or lightweight so i was worried the clingo wouldnt be able to cope with the size or weight of it.I attached it to the windscreen, peeled the protective cover off the bright green sticky 'clingo' material and stuck my phone to it (which it does very easily without excessive pressure).I set off and to my delight it held it in place perfectly. The suction cup mount is very secure on the windscreen, and the phone sticks to the clingo like glue, although easy enough to peel off when required.All things considered, im extremely pleased with it, and if you follow the instructions for cleaning i cannot see why it would give any trouble.

I bought a JML grip & go version of this years ago, and it was great. Only recently has it began to lose its grip (even with the weight of my iPhone 7).I attached this unit to my car, and stuck my phone on, and it IMMEDIATLEY fell off.The surface is tacky to touch, but nothing like the jml version. Honestly, the previous version was great. Even at the low price, this was a waste of money

The sticky pad is very good, cleans easily and regains it's adhesive strength again. The downside(s) for me that I've found are:1) You can't use this with a heavy phone, it will just fall off at the next bump in the road, I have a note 2 and an extended battery, in order to use this I have to swap the original battery back in. Not really a fault of the holder as the phone is very heavy with the extended battery, so more of a warning if you do this.2) Most importantly, the ball joint between the sticky pad and the arm is a little too movable, the phone won't always stay where you position it, the joint has no adjustment or lock that I can see so the phone can move away from where you positioned it as the journey progresses.Other than those points, a well made and quality car mount.

This is easy to use straightforward phone holder for a nav. Feels a little on the flimsy side (so I didn't mark it 5 starts) but price wise and usability - it's ideal!

Hace tiempo tuve una versión anterior de este soporte que llevaba un brazo mas bien corto (algún "compañero" del curro lo vio en el bus y me desapareció) y al final según en que vehículo se hacia incomodo manipular(siempre en parado ehh). En esta versión han alargado el brazo y para lunas que son muy inclinadas y se alejan mucho del volante en el salpicadero viene perfecto. La fuerza de succión de la ventosa es buena si bien hay veces que hay que humedecerla un poco si hace muchos cambios de vehículo. Y la sujeción del gel como siempre increíble, en cuanto deja de pegar se le da una mano de agua se deja secar y como nueva.Yo personalmente mientra exista este tipo de soportes son lo que utilizaré son 10/10

Super produit qui répond exactement à mon besoin!Mon smartphone (Nexus 5 + coque Ringke Fusion) tient parfaitement, très content de mon achat.Livret avec une petite plaque adhésive pour y placer la ventouse en cas de pose sur la commande centrale en plastique : parfait.

Ich hatte vor einiger Zeit bereits eine Clingo Halterung für die Lüftung, die aber im derzeitigen Fahrzeug nicht passte.Somit musste Ersatz her und der war mit dieser Halterung gefunden.Das Pad - jetzt in schwarz statt in grün - hält das Telefon wie gewohnt ordentlich.Die Verarbeitung macht einen guten Eindruck. Einmal eingestellt, hält das Gelenk den Arm an Ort und Stelle.Auch der Saugnapf ist nicht zu kritisieren. Hält auch bei unebenen Bodenbelägen.Somit ist die Clingo Handsfree eine Empfehlung wert.
