Review: Perfect for old or young. But would a teenager cope? - In casual conversation with my eighty-something mother I suggested, mere hinted at, that it could, perhaps, be a good idea to have a bottle of water with her in the summer. Prevent dehydration etc. The instant, and somewhat forceful reply, that she had not reached ninety-something (always adds a bit for drama) carrying a bottle of water. No indeed, she has reached that age by adding to my stress. In the end she relented. • Excellent small bottle • Easily fits in a small bag, sports bag for kids, lunch box etc • It has a simple twist cap – easy to use even an 80-something can • It is ideal for kids. A ten-year-old can use it • Cap helps to prevent leaks • It is a tad bit small though. Ok for pre-teens or the driving-me-insane parent. • It is not suitable for a teenager used to carrying around a small reservoir. It is made from plastic so the teenager, on the edge of an existential climate crisis, cannot use it. It is irrelevant the portable reservoir is made from plastic – not worth the explosion pointing that out. I highly recommend. What’s worse I then heard my mother advising her friend that she should buy a small bottle like the one she bought from desertcart. Like ‘she’ bought! Little economic with the facts! I did not buy one for myself – my required drink is supplied from a bottle with a cork. But based on the above you probably worked that out.
Review: Good water bottles - Great set of bottles. The twist open cap is stiff which is good as it stops leakage. Really happy with them. The clear blue makes the appearance of the look good. They have a good amount of grip. My mum that bought them has Athritis in her hands and still finds them acceptable. They are a good size for carrying with you. There has been no mention of a plastic taste when storing water in them. We have them in the fridge so we can cycle them round for her, so she has chilled water. Plus the size helps us monitor her fluid intake. There is no straw with these bottles, however.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would this bottle work for containing both orange AND apple and blackcurrant squash?**
A: My son takes the bottle every day to school with orange squash and he is happy and I'm happy with it too I hope the answer helps

**Q: is this item dishwasher safe?**
A: Yes

**Q: Would this be suitable for a 2 and a half year old or just older children?**
A: My younger child has been using this since she was 8 months old with little spillage. She can even hold it to her mouth herself when it isn't too full and heavy.

**Q: When I suck on this bottle I get a bit of water but mostly air. Is it faulty or is it meant to be like this?**
A: Just use it as a normal water bottle. Do not suck, squeeze the bottle gently as you drink from it. It will go back into shape. It is not faulty as others have said. Do not treat the bottle like a juice carton where you suck the drink through a straw.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ok bottle of cheap but can be issue with the opening.
*by E***A on 11 July 2025*

I like these bottles because they seem to be good at not leaking which is hard to find in a bottle. However the twist top is hit and miss. We have a few of these and the lid is fine but we also have a couple where the lid is very hard to twist and my younger children find it really difficult to open them. It's also silly that you have to twist it to drink in the same direction you twist to open and take the lid off so you can end up just taking the lid off instead. I also have concerns about how clean the lid is, it's hard to get inside it to give all the parts a good wash.
