Can this be applied to eye lids

LUMECARE r is a gel which, on blinking, spreads over the surface of the eye and lubricates to give relief from sore, itchy dry eye sensation. The enduring effect protects the eyes from further drying out and damage. Would be safe to use on the lids but not guaranteed to help as the gel is designed for the eyes

Please can you tell me, Is this eye gel “preservative” free?

Xailin eye gel is preservative free if you are looking into such products for dry eyes. I too am switching to Xailin.

is this gel or drops?

A cooling gel. It works for me when I get pain from a dry eye.

How do you apply this?

You have to squeeze the gel from the nozzle directly on to your eye. My mother uses it to lubricate her eyes when they become dry. She still applies the gel herself even though she is now 91. You need to be careful not to touch your eye with the nozzle.
