Works well

Not as sturdy as my previous RH toaster and no blue lights

Being time to replace my 20 year old Russel Hobb 2 slice toaster which in the last year was not making great toast anymore I decided to buy this new model with 4 slices. This model is very similar/identical to my old one and is making long forgotten wonderful toast. What I did notice was the cheaper quality and lighter weight of the new toaster against my old one. This is not a complaint just a probable sign of the times. I bought the old toaster with Kettle which is still working perfectly for £35 on special offer 20 years. Optimistic that this one will live up to Russell Hobbs name and lasts just as long...Good Value for money, Nice looking, compact for a 4 Slicer and has taken hardly anymore space than my 2 slice, pops up just right even with smaller slices of bread.

Great toaster, very happy with it

I bought this to replace an almost identical Russell Hobbs toaster which we had for about 10 years. This new one toasts perfectly and can cope with really thick slices of bread or crumpets just like the old model so I hope this one lasts another 10 years.

I will normally spend a little time researching my purchases, but in this case I figured that it was just a toaster and Russell Hobbs have been making them forever so it should be a safe bet right? Nope. Take a look at the photo I included, that is a regular sized slice of Warburton's bread in the down (toasting) position. You can't fit a normal sized slice of bread in it. How the hell did that get past the design stage, what where they thinking? How can a company that has been making toasters for so long get that so wrong? Baffling. Another annoyance is the length of the mains lead, it's ridiculously short. Unless you are placing the toaster directly in front of a socket it isn't going to reach. I had to run an extension lead to it even though the socket I wanted to plug it in to was only about eighteen inches away. When it eventually arrived (about three weeks after I ordered it) it came unsealed with a shipping label stuck to it's original, very bashed box. There wasn't even a bit of tape to seal the box, for a minute there I though I was getting a second hand toaster. Naturally I am returning this and will avoid Russell Hobbs in the future.

Nice looking toaster, but has to be on the highest setting to toast.

Heats up bread, pancakes and pop-tarts easily. Has lasted since I bought it.

Produits non conforme au standard européen et particulièrement Français, prise au standard Américain donc impossible de le brancher. Produit retourner
