Review: Great protection - Bought these for my knees on a recent snowboarding holiday and I must say they feel like they will offer great protection (although I never took any serious falls to test them out!). I was initially concerned at the build quality (the stitching around the elastic doesn't appear too great), but they survived a week of extensive use and seem like they've got plenty of life left in them. Overall, a real bargain!
Review: Excellent lightweight, comfortable - Excellent lightweight, comfortable, strong, well made item which I actually use as a shin pad for football games with friends, although I would definitely use it as a knee or elbow pad if I needed to protect or support any sort of injury. In fact I have just ordered another pair to use when the current ones become worn, just in case they stop making them !

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great protection
*by S***T on 5 April 2012*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent lightweight, comfortable
*by M***N on 13 February 2018*

Excellent lightweight, comfortable, strong, well made item which I actually use as a shin pad for football games with friends, although I would definitely use it as a knee or elbow pad if I needed to protect or support any sort of injury. In fact I have just ordered another pair to use when the current ones become worn, just in case they stop making them !

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Skinny
*by D***D on 16 August 2018*

Good quality; thin enough to fit under some skinny trousers, but thick enough to do their job (light protection - not suitable for tilers/builders etc). I should add that you'll want to go a size up from the chart if you have particularly muscular calves and thighs: that goes by knee circumference, and I guess assumes a runner's physique for the rest of the fitment.
