Is this any good for getting dog hair off car seats

It's brilliant, I use the brush to raise the dog hair into a link and follow up with a vacuum cleaner certainly the best brush for this job that I have come across

Couid i use it on a deep shag pile carpet

If you mean in the same way you would use a Tangle Teazer on hair, I wouldn't recommend it - you may find your carpet starts developing bald oatches.

Any good for black clothes please? Our 2 jackies short hair is becoming a pain to remove from the daughter black school uniform 😬

This Brush is designed for any textile surfaces. So it should also work on a black school uniform.
