I have used them today and they have become cemented on....** A: No, that does not sound right. The lids are tight - they need to be to prevent the ink from drying, I guess. They are probably tighter than most pens, but if they are cemented on, then I would say you have a less than perfect set and would considering sending them back. **Q: Are they water-based?** A: They are not. More like pernlmenant markets, however they can mix and bind well with colours overlapping. . **Q: Can I use this multiliner with watercolours too?** A: Hi Oliwia, Its black pigment ink is waterproof and very lightfast.
