12V Car Hot Immersion Electric Heater Element Kettle Mug Van

Amazing piece of kit for motorbike travelers or people who like to pack light. I will be using this kit on my round the world travel as it is small and does the job. I haven't really used it yet (just once to test if it works), but I reckon it can get your water or other liquids warm enough to get your mouth burned. I wouldn't expect it to boil water though. All in all, highly satisfied!

First the fuse blew. I had to replace the fuse and re-solder the connecting leads. Heat from the elements melts the supply wire insulation potentially causing a short circuit, heat and fire. I strongly advise to avoid this product.

Excellent piece of kit.

This is a good product and a good price. Just be careful it takes about 7 minutes to heat up a cup of water but the cable and the actual plug gets extremely hot as well but it cools down very quickly and works very well. I've used it to heat up two cups of water in a row and I found about 7 minutes is about right. Great fun. Like the Nescafe ad.

I like to have hot water for my drinks so bought this to use to rewarm water from a flask - it is great only takes a couple of minutes to get the water back to being hot. a really useful tool for days out during the winter months. this was a lot cheaper than buying a kettle for the car. i use it every time we go out on day trips.

It does the job, however it is not only the heating coil that dissapates heat. The cable and lighter plug also get warm. Not warm enought to cause alarm, but enough that I wish someone would design a better quiality product. The plastic clip is too flimsy and broke off in shipping.

Poorly made takes to long to heat straight in bin after fuse blew pays your money takes ya chance

Really handy item for the car. Heats water up in minutes to make a nice cuppa.
