I use Regain foam every day, so after I shampoo I do Regain then say wait at least half hour or so before I use the Toppik. If I style my hair I would use Toppik as the very last thing. You don't need much, just sprinkle it over the balding areas and try to get a nice coverage. Just use a little bit then look in the mirror, use a comb (not a brush) and just comb it over with your natural hair, then if you need more apply some more Toppik. Build it up gradually. I only set it with hairspray if I am going on a night out. But on a everyday basis you can get away without hairspray. It washes out easily and try not to mess with your hair afterwards as you can a bit of it over your fingers and it would also ruin the coverage. I did have a slight problem with it when I was at the gym, and it came off all over the bench! Bit embarrassing but luckily no one noticed, but I have wore it to the gym other times and none of it came off so maybe I just applied too much that day. Wind will blow it out, wearing a hat will leave a bare spot where the hat touches your head. Rain leaves bare spots. It will rub off wherever you rest your head: car head rests, couches, etc. And you should wear a mask to protect your lungs when applying. Keratin is not good for your lungs.
