I’m very pleased with this Victorinox Dual Knife Sharpener. It’s compact, lightweight, and extremely easy to use, making it ideal for both home and travel. The dual sharpening system works well — the carbide side quickly restores a dull edge, while the ceramic side smooths and finishes the blade nicely. Build quality is excellent, as you’d expect from a Swiss-made Victorinox product. The sharpener feels sturdy in hand, and the non-slip base provides good stability during use. Great product easy use and packable

The Good ... I got one in the end, sadly at the full £13 tag, as the offer price meant you had to prove your age for some reason, nope, not for this product so I had to wait. It's super useful for a light touch up in the field. With the rounded edge you can get your mushroom knife or similar well edged, and the groove is useful for the back edge of the point or a fishing hook. It's a touch up sharpener not a honing one. The dual end thing is ok but no needed. The Bad ... the price is to high, they used to be well under £10 and offered at £10. The top that covers the little V shaped sharpener needs to fit better and with more of a detent so you can feel it's home, sadly it comes of if you're not careful. Attention to detail, something lacking in most things these days. If you're going to sell a product at an elevated price the quality should be reflected. In all the years I've been on amazon I seen maybe on or two 5star products and this is not one of them. As for the rating features of a product, we don't need to, it just confuses people and increases the rating. It's good but not that good. Useful but not essential. I like it, I bought it.

This thing is nuts. I tried it on some of my pairing knives and within a few strokes on the blue section and a couple of light passes between the ceramic blades they are as good as when they came out of the Pro cook shop. Very impressive. Beats having to get out the diamond stones and strop. Will definitely keep my companion sharp. Highly recommended.

Brilliant this little knife sharpener from Victorinox, does if used aas they say it does a brillisnt job of sharpening a blade, as are there pocket knifes, highly recommened.

The sharpener works fairly well, but your never going to get that razor edge. The stone is curved, which makes it hard to get the flat of the bevel at the right angle to preserve the blades edge. It worked fine on a small kitchen knife, and gave a reasonable edge and fairly good sharpness, but nowhere near as good as a flat wet whetstone and strop. Maybe i'm being too fussy, or I'm not using it correctly but i having tried to get that factory sharp edge on my victorinox Army Knives, it seems to come up just short. maybe its me, but the instructions are not existent, save for an unclear simple line diagram printed on the back, which doesn't even explain what the 2 functions are for. something tells me, I'm missing a trick as it is a Victorinox product, for which i have great admiration. The quality is flawless, but it's functionality is questionable. But I think I'm using it wrong, but can't find anywhere including you tube etc, that shows how to use it correctly. Shame as its compact and easily stowed, feels good in the hand, robust etc. Needs better instructions or a link to an official video tutorial.

Die Handhabung ist einfach: Eine Seite bietet eine Keramik-V-Schärfung für den schnellen Nachschliff, die andere einen kleinen Schleifstein für feinere Arbeiten. Gerade für Taschenmesser ist das völlig ausreichend und hält die Klinge zuverlässig scharf. Die Qualität wirkt solide, wie man es von Victorinox gewohnt ist, und der Schärfer liegt gut in der Hand. Fazit: Wer ein praktisches, platzsparendes Werkzeug für die schnelle Schärfe zwischendurch sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Top Preis-Leistung und ideal für Outdoor-Fans!

It's good, and it doesn't take off too much metal like a diamond file. But you have to sharpen it quite often to make your blade redeemable, cuz if not, it'll be really hard to get an edge since it can't take off much metal. I think it's either a 400 or 650 grit, but not sure.
