Not a bad balm at all. Leaves your beard soft all day long, leave no residue on your hands after touching your beard and is absorbed quickly. Tames some fly away hairs but not them all. Given its not a styling balm it does a commendable job of keeping my face forest tidy for the day. My issues were the odd grainy bits that it leaves in beard, not lots but enough to see them, but also easy to brush out with your hand. I don't suffer from dry skin on my face or bear dandruff either. Now the smell...I can't decide if I hate it or not. Its a cross between butter and wax, given the ingredients I suppose this should not be too much of a surprise. I was just hoping for a more manly scent. I don't know whether I'm supposed to smear it on my toast or rub it in my beard! I contacted the manufacturer who dealt with my issues very quickly, providing a top quality service....thank you.Edit - I've upped this to a 5-star review (from 4). I use a beard wash, then towel dry my beard. Rub in some of this balm (about a finger nail's worth), leave it for 10 mins, then 2-3 drops of the Spartan Beard Oil and my beard has never felt softer. A winning combo!

Been using for a while now and it's really good for short beards of any style, smells great, doesn't look greasy and styles well.For beards longer than about 2cm it struggles to control all the hairs which is still fine for full styles but a goatee or similar it can come up short sometimes

Have to say I've tried quite a few beard products for my scruffy beard and this is the first one that's impressed me in a long time... for starters its firm but soft enough to press out a small blob onto your fingertip before warming up on the palms and working into the beard giving good hold all day... secondly it smells really nice, like a cologne fragrance that lasts all day... having used it for a little over a week my beard seems tighter, neater and healthier so I'm impressed

The best of the beard balms I have tried. This stuff smells great, disappears into and conditions the beard, use just as instructed and you cannot go far wrong. Leaves your beard feeling lovely and soft, the best thing is to the wife approves, which is always good. I have a beard around 4-5 inches long at its longest at the moment and you hardly need any of this stuff. Even leaves your hands nice and moisturized afterwards too. Thanks Spartan, another quality product that I have from you guys.

There are a lot of things I really like about this product, the main one being the way it makes my beard feel (soft!)How it makes my beard LOOK, however, is another matter. I know that it's supposed to 'reduce frizz', and from the other reviews it clearly does that for most people. In MY case, though, it seems to do the exact opposite. On the days when I use this, it's like every individual hair wants to stand up perpendicular to my skin! I look more 'castaway' than 'well-groomed'. As a result, I now only use it on days when I'm not going out and am unlikely to be seen by anyone other than my cat... who does sometimes seem a bit freaked out by it, to be honest...So, a nice product, but not for me. Your mileage may vary. I like it, but I won't be replacing it once this jar's done.

Pretty good beard balm. Leaves my beard nice and smooth and the smell is very nice. It is a bit pricey, though.

Beautiful soft, buttery balm that melts in the hand, works easily through the beard without any residue. Keeps even my big, weather-beaten seafarers beard in check. Subtle, manly fragrance which lasts through the day. If you are new to Beard products start here, it's fat easier to use than many of the harder mass production balms.

Works quite well. The beard stays tame through the work day. Beard hair feels and looks healthier. My wife absolutely loves how it smells. I put left oved from my hands in my head hair and it even feels thicker. Plus my hats smell good.

Cuando lo abrí me dio dos sensaciones al momento. La primera, un toque cítrico que no es a lo que estoy acostumbrado (fragancias más masculinas a maderas). En segundo lugar, me pareció un producto demasiado "húmedo" para fijar mi barba. Pensé que podría deberse al calor del verano. Una vez lo utilizas, esa consistencia aceitosa tiene ventajas. Se extiende por toda la barba y no deja residuos, sin que la fragancia cítrica tenga un protagonismo excesivo. Fija bien la barba (en mi caso, longitud media/larga) aunque si usas demasiada la dejará brillante como cuando usas aceite. Llevo barba desde hace años y he usado varias ceras. La mayoría me daban la sensación de que no me aportaban nada que no hiciera una cera para el pelo. En este caso, mi sensación es muy diferente. Recomiendo probarlo, aunque no olvidemos que nuestras barbas son todas diferentes.

La descrizione del prodotto, qui su Amazon, non era proprio ben fatta e si capiva poco del prodotto in sé, l'ho acquistato per provare e ho fatto bene. Un balsamo veramente ottimo, ha un profumo buono, si distribuisce bene sulla barba, non unge, non macchia i vestiti con cui entra in contatto la barba, compatta e rende più omogeneo il profilo di quest'ultima. Per ottenere un migliore risultato però, bisogna utilizzare una spazzola e non il pettine. Sono rimasto talmente soddisfatto da averne comprato altri 2. È meglio dell'olio e meglio di altri prodotti che vengono venduti a prezzi più elevati, inoltre la quantità non è irrisoria come per altri. Eccellente rapporto qualità, prezzo e quantità.

Ce baume est pour moi un excellent produit. Il est très simple d'utilisation, il n'est pas très gras ce qui est parfait pour en mettre la journée. Il sent bon et son parfum est assez léger, ce qui ne pose pas de problème si vous mettez du parfum. Au niveau de la contenance, il y en a assez pour un bon moment ! En bref, à acheter les yeux fermé si vous voulez prendre soin de votre barbe !

it has a very subtle smell that other brands might decribe as "barber shop" the scent is almost invisible, i would almost believe it is supposed to be unscented. i couldnt find a scent profile in the description so i'm not sure what it should be.it feels great in beard and i love the packaging. very classy looking.
