It works much better when you add a little water to the paint too. Goes on much smoother. **Q: Do you need to wax on top of the paint?** A: i would recommend you do, but it depends what you are using the furniture for. i have a sideboard, which i am about to pain in chalk paint and then i will wax afterwards, to make it more durable, and give a better finish. **Q: How long does this paint take to dry? Thanx** A: 2-4 hours between coats for a more even smooth finish **Q: Can this be used on marble surrounding a gas fire?** A: I wouldn't think so.
