Lee Kum Kee Black Bean Garlic Sauce, Vegan, No Added Preservatives, 205 g (Pack of 6)

We tried this a few months ago as my other half likes beef in black bean sauce. I was surprised how close it tasted to the takeaways version. Plus the fact that you only need to use about a quarter of a jar in your recipe, so it's great value.

Tastes very good. This is not just a mix in sauce. I have used this sauce over the years and now the jar contains instructions. You just need a little - follow instructions. I build my sauce with water and a little cornflour or weak beef or chicken gravy. The benefit is that one jar lasts longer. Too much is very strong and salty.

Been using Lee Kum Kee for years, this black bean and garlic paste is fantastic. Most take always and restaurants use this paste. Just be mindful when using it, a little goes a long way, too much and it will be over powering and salty.

The black bean sauce is one of the best I’ve ever tried but unfortunately 2 jars were damaged on top of lid in which case air got I also ordered satay jars aswell in which they had protection tip and bottom with cardboard

I have been using these for some time they are excellent if you want to rustle up a quick midweek stirfry quite authentic flavour great addition to the store cupboard.

I bought this sauce during April when lockdown caused some small shops to close. I always buy this brand of black bean sauce but was worried it might not be exactly the same. I can confirm that it is indeed the same and tastes amazing. Not a lot is needed as the sauce is quite concentrated. I use this often and I am so pleased I can now order here on amazon!

Lee Kum Kee Black Bean Garlic Sauce is ideal for any one who has taken a holiday dip in the Dead Sea and inadvertently and swallowed a mouth full of the Salt filled waters as this product will bring back holiday memories !! .... utterly inedible !! , foul taste !! and an ideal product to ruin any dish you attmpet to create ... On a more postive note , the glass jars may prove usefull once the contents are disposed of !!!

So much nicer than the sachet sauces and great value. A little goes a long well and I have received some great compliments on the improvement in my stir fries! It has a rich natural taste. I like to add a little sweet chilli sauce to balance the savoury taste a little and a touch of lime juice to add a touch of sourness. This works very well, so easy and great value!
