So impressed by this bit of kit. I was dubious but it’s well worth the money! Easy to install onto my car with my roof racks. It’s bigger than I thought. We have fit 3 large suitcases & 3 bags for life into it together as well as space for more, we just didn’t need to take anything else! It’s secure & sturdy once packed & attached. The only thing I would say is to remember to tuck the straps in behind as they flap in the wind otherwise but that’s the same with any adjustable strap!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said! Having used this product on my barless car, I cannot recommend it enough for the following: - Ease of use: it really is as simple as place it on the roof and strap it up (either to your bars or through the car doors). Simple tightening, but very secure. - Super sturdy: This carrier simply won’t let you down. It is thick and tightens to fit the load so no room for items to slip around. - Weatherproof: whilst I was unable to test the waterproof functionality, the layer inside is thick. I can see the straps absorbing rain and potentially causing problems inside the vehicle however I would be VERY surprised should the main carrier let water through. - Super portable: the carrier folds back up into its bag with ease. Cannot ask for better storage! If you’re due to go on holiday or need to carry a little more than your boot can handle, this product is second to none. Very very impressed and wish I’d have invested sooner!

I have to admit I was very sceptical about this but as we couldn’t afford a box and roof bars we took a chance and I’m pleased to say it worked! The bag holds a lot and is sturdy and water proof and amazing the 2 straps through the car held it in place even going 70 down the motorway! It’s not elegant, basically the car is wearing a backpack! And it is noisy (it sounded like a swarm of bees was following us as soon as we got over 30mph but it stayed put on a 200 mile journey through high winds so I’d say it does what it claims to just fine!

We have been looking at roofboxes for awhile for our short UK holiday away, After searching through endless different ones on amazon, we chose this one due to the size. We had been looking at roofboxes but your then stuck with a large box to store when not in use. Going away was going to prove difficult when travelling with 2 large dogs and a Newborn, plus all the baby essentials you need including pram etc The dogs take up the boot and there is not enough space internally for everything we need when going away, even if we do have a large estate car, Baby's do have a lot of stuff! Our car is an estate car with Rails, to be honest i am not sure how it would work with a car that only has roof bars, The buckles to tie it down run parallel with the roof rails so make fitting easy. We did buy a cargo/padding grip mat to put on the roof first before putting the bag on top. A lot of reviews of other bags have warned about rips when cargo moves within the bag. We put an old blanket down within the bags floor to help form the shape before packing it. In ours we managed to fit Baby Pram (occaro), Large Gym holdall, Baby Trunket and 3 Large Aldi bags filled + 1 bag of shoes/wellies We could have shoved more items in there to pack it fuller but we didn't have the need to. Note, because you are putting items on the roof, you have to take into consideration the weight, When we put the pram in the middle the roof (15kg), you heard the metal slightly flex, as soon as i did i moved it further back and closer to a rail and the flex reverted, there is no damage. The Pram was ok further back on the roof. I believe this to be more an issue with the way the pram lies when flat as most off the pressure is on 2 small points of the pram. Note the flexing is similar to when you push on a car bonnet in the center, it flexes and then reverts, Travelling we had no issues, i did buy spare straps just in case after reading other reviews of other bags breaking, but we did not need them The bag held strong throughout the journey (including motorways and winding county roads) and was in the same position once we arrived at our destination, cargo had not moved either. 100% would buy again and 100% would recommend. I will be using this to store the Pram on the roof when we go out with the dogs Now the best bit, when we got home and unpacked, we took the roofbag down, folded it up and its now stored easily in the car for when we next need it, you can't do that with a roofbox. Very happy, fantastic product

Was sceptical about this when I ordered it but was very impressed with its size and quality. Fitted to an S Max with out roof bars, managed to fit in a small water board 5 big bags of clothes and a beach chair, all secured with the straps supplied. Was a bit worried it might move or come of but it was absolutely fine on a nice long drive from Hertfordshire to Cornwall with no issues. We had a little bit of rain and everything inside stayed dry although like others have said the straps do get wet but we didn't have enough rain for it to start dripping in the car but the strap was wet. Overall this saved us a lot of money on getting roof bars and box and to me seems like can fit a lot more it. Would highly recommend this.

Really good quality and easy to fit to the car, straps come into the car and tightened from inside. Just be careful of the placement as they may touch your head while driving. This allowed us to downsize from and Audi S5 to BMW M1 and we now have more storage space for camping. We purchased this as a friend also had the same model. Not that you will need to supply a this non slip rubber mat and place this on your car roof before the Carrier bag is placed on the car roof. It will help to stop the bag moving around and avoid any potential scratches on the roof. I very much doubt that this would happen however and al in all this is a well made product.

So on unboxing; the quality seemed excellent; the straps, clasps and bag material seems very heavy duty. It was mounted up on my truck and the straps pulled very tight and they held strong; it gave a lot of confidence. It was loaded with my kit and due to the bags size I managed to load my camp bed, large moon camping chair, two regular camping chairs, a camp table, picnic blanket and XL sleeping bag - I was very impressed. The bag was closed, the rain guard pulled down over the zip and secured using the sewn velcro strips. We headed off on our trip. We unpacked and set-up camp. During the first night we experienced moderate rain, the following day I thought I'd check the bag and was horrified to find that it was full of puddles of water. I opened it up, dried up the water using a roll of kitchen towel; thinking that maybe the zip hadn't been fully closed properly and/or the velcro rain guard wasn't secured. At the end of the weekend we started to pack. There were some drops of water inside. The bag was loaded again the straps pulled tight, the rain guard secured and we set off home. On the way back there was heavy rain. When we got home and unpacked; everything was soaked; the camp bed, chairs, sleeping bag and picnic blanket. In short, the bag is not fit for purpose and will be sent back.

Used this for our holiday. Fitted to a vectra C with no roof bars so mounted using the long straps. With 3 small dogs and child all the car space including boot was used up so this was ideal to pack everything we needed onto the roof externally. Capacity was as much as the boot space and laying it on a anti slip mat stopped it from moving whilst in transit plus prevented the paintwork getting damaged. A cheaper and more practical way to move items on trips when space is of a premium. Worked very well and was secure up to 70mph. No extra noise and the straps did not get in the way in the cabin either. Packs up small when not in use and very good quality. I would recommend this for anyone requiring more load space for a car with or without roof bars. Definitely needs the mat though to complete the package. A genuine happy customer giving a 5 star rating.

Do not purchase for on the roof of your car without braces. The straps in the package do not have the same size as the straps on the cargo carrier.

J'étais à la recherche d'un toit de voiture pas trop cher afin de pouvoir traverser la France pour aller au camping ! Nous étions 7 personnes dans la voiture et donc il ne me restait aucune place dans le coffre ... mais pas non plus le budget pour m'acheter un vraie toit de coffre rigide. J'ai donc opté pour ce coffre de toit souple 580 L et comment vous dire ... je suis très agréablement surprise ! La première fois que j'ai voulue l'installer il m'a fallu un petit moment afin de bien comprendre les sens dans lequel tout devait être mis et surtout m'assurer que tout était bien serrer et fermer afin que rien ne bouge pendant le voyage. Je conseil d'ailleurs d'acheter un tapis et de le mettre en le toit et le sac afin que ce dernier ne glisse pas. Le sac a une très grande capacité de stockage ( j'ai pu y mettre au moins 4 valises , quelques sachets, affaires enfants, .... ) Il n'a pas bouger pendant le voyage ( environs 800 km sur route de ville et autoroutes allant jusqu'au 130 km/h ). Alors bien sur une fois la voiture lancée a pleine vitesse on entend un peu de bruit lié au coffre surtout si vous ne serrez pas assez le tout les sangles ou le tissus risque de claquer sur la carrosserie. Attention aussi à la pluie car s'il pleut l'eau risque de rentrer un peu au niveau des tirettes de fermetures. Mais pour le prix je suis entièrement satisfaite

Wir haben uns lange überlegt welche Art von Dachbox für uns die richtige ist. Ob faltbar ich war zunächst skeptisch oder feste Box. Jedoch hat uns überzeugt, dass sie zum einen platzsparend aufzubewahren ist, das Volumen für unsere ZWecke wirklich ideal ist. Die Handhabung ist super einfach, auch beim 1. Mal aufbauen. Sehr gut finde ich wie simpel die Befestigung ist und dass ich keine Querträger benötige obwohl eine Reling vorhanden ist - das schont den Geldbeutel. Wir haben sie bei unserem Urlaub eingesetzt und waren wirklich erstaunt, dass es wirklich wasserfest ist - Regen hatten wir auf der Hinfahrt, dass nichts verrutscht sowohl die Box als auch Inhalt nicht, also war hier meine Befürchtung völlig unbegründet. Sie ist sehr leicht, was den Transport und den Aufbau wirklich erleichert. An unserem Urlaubsort konnten wir den Luxus geniessen die Dachbox vollständig wieder zusammenzubauen ,sodass wir sie für die zwei Wochen perfekt in der Tasche lagern konnten. Spart Sprit für den Urlaubsaufenthalt und man muss sich keine GEdanken machen ob die Dachhöhe ausreicht - bei einem SUV. Da wir Geocacher sind und eine Großfamilie wird diese Box uns definitiv öfter begleiten und die Ausflüge erleichtern. Fazit: Wir sind froh uns für diese Box entschieden zu haben. Preis/Leistung - wirklich TOP. Nur zu empfehlen.
